  • Minimum balance requirements

I HATE the $25000 USD requirement. It is so unnecessary when other firms require a fraction of this amount. Please change your requirement and I will come back as a client. Frankly, you were making a fortune commissions/ fees. Your loss I guess…
  • Please keeping TOS in Canada!!!

TOS is wanted in Canada, please don’t let us switch over to another broker. We got a nice in the mail that TOS won’t be available to Canadian users starting next year January.
  • After migration to Schwab constantly crashes and slow

This use to be a good mobile app under TDA, but after the migration, it’s slow, so when I put an options order in, it’s slow to respond and because of the delay, you either miss your entry or if you’re trading futures, you miss your stop and you end of losing more money, because more than likely the app crashed after you placed the order. Then you have to log back in which takes time and then you will see that you’re stop order has already been surpassed and you lose more money. I lost $2000 in 2 days because of this. With TDA, I never lost so much money because of technical issues. If the orders were on point, my loss would have been less than half this amount. In addition, there is no way to set stop loss for futures options, but I know NinjaTrader allows this and their fees are a lot better than Schwab for futures. I’m moving my business over to NinjaTrader. Thanks for TDA for the good years of trading, but after Schwab takeover, this app has gone downhill and I’ve lost so much more money with Schwab in a shorter amount of time.

We assure you the app is cared for at the same high level, regardless of whether or not you've transitioned over to Schwab. We'd regret seeing you leave us. Rather than departing us, please consider giving our developers the opportunity of gaining more specific understanding of your crashing issues. To help them diagnose this more accurately, it would be greatly appreciated if you could log in via the app and send us a message via the More > Help/Support > Feedback tabs. In your message, let us know where you are seeing the crash with such details as the page you are on and what actions you are taking. This will help for a more clear diagnosis, allowing us to look directly at your app's settings to find a resolution to the problem. Of course, if you prefer to speak with us, our tech team is available at 800-435-9050. We truly appreciate having you as our client and wish to do everything possible to help you have a better experience. ^ZJ

  • Schwab the deck

Schwab has absolutely no idea how to manage risk. I will absolutely not recommend this app to anyone under the leadership of Schwab, under their present mode of operations. I had a spread trade, and the short leg was assigned early, as often happens. What usually doesn’t happen is Miss management of the remaining position by the brokerage. What happened in this case, was that the broker decided to simply close the assigned position rather than exercise the remaining leg. What they really should’ve done was simply send me a message, or flagged a margin alert on the account. Instead, what they did was expose me to a tremendous amount of downside, loss potential, which did occur given that the remaining long leg of the position lost significant value any amount of the time, but between when I realized they had closed the assigned position.

Schwab is really a textbook failure in risk management. You can see every day as they start to assume more of an active role, from the margin, being decreased, to mismanagement of positions, to restricting trades on options, spreads for those below a certain threshold, which was previously allowed for TD Ameritrade. If you contact support it doesn’t do any good

  • iPad App Needs Work

They broke the appp a few updates ago. First, Canadians couldn’t easily login. Now, every time the app is opened, users must provide their passwords. Facial recognition isn’t enough. The iPhone app is fine. It’s just the iPad app that is broken.
  • New order view

I am not sure why this changed but placing an order is worse. Post change, it takes more clicks and both hands to place an option trade. The process is not better, it is more cumbersome and less intuitive. The important text is also smaller in size making it harder to know if you have your trade correct. Please revert or update this process. Is there a way for a user to be part of user testing/feedback pre-release?

Update: you put some + and - buttons back on the app. This addresses only part of the problem. The “Leg Setup” screen for an option is about as bad as it could be. To change the strike of an option takes 4 clicks starting at the top of the device, then the bottom twice, and then the top again. I need an extension on my thumb to perform this ritual! Then I have to repeat if I need to change the expiry date. If you trade one option a year this is fine. If you trade many a day, it makes you want to change platforms. Use the app to make 10 traded, adjust the strikes and expiry’s of each 3 times and you will see how miserable have made us. Make the expiry and strike scroll in place on the order page. It is not hard. No new screen with 20 buttons.

We agree that less clicks are a good thing. That's why we're adding the +/- price and quantity adjustment buttons on the Order Editor and Alert Editor are coming back soon. Regarding the text size, if you go to your phone's settings and increase the font size, the change will translate to your app's text size. We're glad to support you and appreciate your questions. ^ZJ
  • Amazing way to recover your lost or stolen funds!

I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 GBP within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of RemotePundit So I file a report on RemotePundit @ Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to RemotePundit (at) gmail
