Get it together I have been with 2degrees for years and over the past year they have been so frustrating to work with I always press autopay and give permission but every single month I have to top it up and theres always an issue it spam texts me saying I’ve got no calls or texts even tho I’ve just paid. Recently it has started taking over an hour to get them to take my money. That’s insane weather I use the app or call 233 its just so difficult. It should not be this hard to pay for a service and receive it. ### 1/5 — Unable to use data clock *2024-10-02* Strongly don’t suggest this data company because My two degree app won’t Let me go in. It ways says you have no active connection, please login to your two degrees. But I’m doing this step to get in to two degrees, so if I can’t get into 2 degrees, how can I go in to two degrees???? The second reason is that I couldn’t use my data clock neither today as it showed I have no time on data clock when I didn’t even go on to the app for the whole day until a few seconds ago. I was so furious that I broken my table! The third reason is that I had just bought data from this company only 2 days ago. If I am unable to use 1 hour data clock everyday, what’s the point of buying 600mb of data for $18??? Over all, I’m extremely disappointed with 2 degrees and is definitely not buying more data from this company. That’s another $5 wasted for the microchip. Like why can’t I get what I’ve bought with my own money?! ### 3/5 — Review *2024-06-09* I’m getting really frustrated because although I’ve belonged to 2 degrees for a few years now, when I try to top up my $10 monthly, it keeps telling me it doesn’t recognise my email (same email I’ve had for 5 years). So I can’t then top up. I’m now overseas and very frustrated that I can’t check or send emails or messages as I need to top up, I try to top up and it doesn’t recognise my email!! Lynn26 ### 1/5 — probably going to leave after many years of using it *2024-03-06* had good deals and data worked fine but always money being stolen. One thing was one time i put 10 dollars into my balance for yk just in cases then a week or two later it’s getting slowly removed cent by cent (in one day) I chose to ignore this even though i was very mad. Next thing is recent. I put my $20 top up for my 14 dollar deal and it took the money out of my account but it’s just showing “call 200” and it’s not showing my top up. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Extremely annoyed as this always happens where i wanna open the app and it says there’s a problem and not anything to do with internet. Extremely annoying. ### 3/5 — No longer championing the little guy *2024-02-06* I've been a customer for over 10 years, but the company's service and value for money just isn't what it used to be. They used to advertise themselves as prioritizing the customer and championing the little guy. That was in their early days. But now they've become just another big corp that has lost its soul and love for its customers. Recently, on a $30 prepaid plan my data ran out. Without asking me via mssg if I wanted to add more data they charged me $40 out of my balance for only an extra 84MB of data! Once that 84MB ran out they THEN mssged me saying I was out of data and that I would need to add more. Without knowing about that charge, I added a 500MB data pack for $10, and once that ran out, I checked and discovered what had happened. I could have renewed my whole plan and got another 1.5GB for only $30! I felt that very unethically they charged me $40 for less than 100MB of data. I have screenshots to prove that this happened. Had been thinking of switching providers previously but this put nail in the coffin. ### 5/5 — 아 좋아 *2023-08-02* 아우좋아 ### 1/5 — Avoid *2023-07-15* This company has “quirky” branding but gave the worst value I’ve experienced. The company requires an international phone call if outside NZ to cancel further billing instead of the app. The top-up amounts are in $5 increments ensuring that you will have a remaining balance on your account but they provide no refund. Although I did my best to buy an advertised prepaid plan my first attempt defaulted to high-cost charges instead, draining the balance in less than 24 hours. A second attempt was successful but the end result was $40 spent for less than four days of usage. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2023-05-12* Tried to set up login using the app. Impossible. Nothing works. Asks you for a username but setup didn’t require you to input a username. Worst app ever. ### 1/5 — As useless as the G in lasagne *2022-11-22* My plan has run out and i’ve been unable to use my phone all day because the app crashes or loads non-stop, preventing me from topping up. I waited over half an hour looking at a loading screen, I have important calls to make with my boss all day tomorrow, I may get the boot from not calling. Wish me luck everyone. P.S. i’ve had too many problems with 2degrees, this is the last straw, i’m moving to vodafone. thank you all. P.S x2- your promised hour of “free data” hasn’t worked for the past couple months but no surprises there ### 1/5 — Don’t bother with these guys *2022-10-27* Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! It is honestly so hard to do anything, once you agree to a prepay plan with them. They remove your rights on the app to change the current plan - so there is no access to that option anymore. The only way to change your plan is to call them and do it over the phone and this also is mission within it self.
