### 4/5 — Used It for Years

*2026-06-02, version 3.89*

6/2/26 - Tighter calendar and reminders integration is becoming more critical for me, and I really really like using 2Do, and, I really hope we can get this done. Also, the macOS version really needs the same calendar panel view that iPadOS has, the one where you can see Reminders. Thank you. 3/28/26 - Please add Calendar integration, , and, basic text formatting in the Notes field. I've been a loyal user for over ten years. Thank you. 12/23/25 - After a one year hiatus to Tick Tick, I'm coming back to 2Do. As I get all of my scheduling details transferred, I'm reminded that there are one or two things I really wish 2Do would add - The first and most important is Calendar Subscriptions. The second one I'll add later, once I find this review actually gets added. I have posted several reviews over the years, the latest one was this last weekend, and it's nowhere to be found, neither are any of my other reviews. S'up ?!

### 4/5 — Quasi perfetta

*2026-05-18, version 3.89*

Direi che ha quasi tutto per gestire attività anche complesse. Se proprio devo evidenziare quella che per me è una mancanza è di non poter allegare file tipo PDF.

### 5/5 — Best GTD app around

*2026-04-22, version 3.89*

I am a GTD adept since its inception, and have used/tried many apps. This app is definitely the closest to the methodology. Not missing anything!

It’s well maintained, and the UI (once you get used to it) is a pleasure to use.

I’m using it with toodledo.com so that on my PC I can still manage tasks.

### 5/5 — The Best to do app

*2026-04-20, version 3.89*

Have been using 2do for years. It has so many features and things under the hood, but is super flexible and easy to use. Not only can you take tasks, make lists, create projects… I keep ongoing lists like questions for my next doctor appointment, a going grocery list, and things I need to remember. I love it.

I have tried many to do apps in the past, but there is a magic in how 2do works and syncs. I use it many times a day. It is one of my top 5 favorite apps, no question.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2026-04-16, version 3.89*

Been using this as my scheduler for a number of years. Generally good and easy to use- really like using it.

However, it would be nice to be able to do more in the Note section, like having more font flexibility- to use bold, italic, larger/smaller size etc.

Nice to see improvements in the syncing.

Thanks!

### 5/5 — Funkcjonalny

*2026-04-16, version 3.89*

Sprawdziłem wiele darmowych i płatnych i wróciłem do mojego ukochanego 2Do. Jedynie czego może brakuje to nowej funkcji z ios26 Pilne przypomnienia. Dzięki

### 4/5 — O App é ótimo!

*2026-04-15*

Gostei muito dele e uso para o trabalho, mas sinto muita falta de suporte a sub-tarefas. Quando for implementada essa funcionalidade, darei a estrela que falta.

### 5/5 — The Best Todo list

*2026-04-10, version 3.88*

Feature rich and easy to use. The best todo app I have ever used.

### 5/5 — Request for Arabic Language Support

*2026-04-09, version 3.88*

Why doesn’t the app support the Arabic language yet?

### 5/5 — Long-time user

*2026-03-28, version 3.87*

I’ve been using 2Do for years. I love its functionality and all it does to help me stay organized. I am a big fan of David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” philosophy, and this app lends itself to successfully implementing that work.

### 3/5 — Pretty good app.

*2026-03-08, version 3.86*

Latest update is horrible. It's getting the days wrong. I have tasks coming up today that are due tomorrow. App used to be amazing.

### 5/5 — Amazing features

*2026-02-23, version 3.86*

I’ve tried most of the popular to-do apps out there and this is by far the best—features, UI, flexibility to support any task management approach. My only regret is the name which Siri relentlessly interprets as “TO-do” rendering it useless for dictating tasks.

### 5/5 — The best and no subscription

*2026-02-18*

That’s all you need to know

### 5/5 — Praktisch

*2026-02-18*

Praktisch in der Bedienung. Hab ich schon lange in Betrieb eignet sich auch sehr gut, um in der Zukunft liegende Termine und Aufgaben nicht zu vergessen.

### 5/5 — Getting things done

*2026-02-09, version 3.84*

One of the best apps I have found to manage my GTD workflow. Easy to use UI. Syncs with Toodledo, so on my laptop I can still manage my tasks with the toodledo.com web UI. Better app than Toodledo provides.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-02-08, version 3.84*

Awesome flexible app. Had it for a number of years and love it

### 5/5 — Wonderful App

*2026-02-07, version 3.84*

I love this app. It keeps me organized, up to date, and on time.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — CANNOT SYNC

*2026-05-18, version 3.89*

CANNOT SYNC

### 1/5 — 設定出ない

*2026-04-03*

最近、iCloudのパスワードを変更したため、同期できなくなったが、それを直すための「設定」が出せなくなった。愛用していただけにとても残念。

**Developer response:** This kindly try removing the account entirely and re-added it. You’ll have to change it to dropbox first the sync method and then change it back to iCloud.

### 1/5 — Нет синхронизации

*2026-01-19, version 3.84*

Сплошные баги, между iPhone нет синхронизации. Toodledo
Вообще не открывается

### 1/5 — Верните меню long tap как было!

*2025-12-08, version 3.80*

Верните предыдущий способ управления переноса даты задачи по долгому нажатию. Очень неудобное меню начало показывать, пользоваться невозможно.

### 1/5 — Stop asking for location access!

*2025-11-19, version 3.73*

New update asks me every time I open app to allow an access for my location. You are not getting it, so stop asking - please disable in next update!

### 1/5 — Still relies on dropbox to sync after all these years

*2025-11-01, version 3.72*

Title says it all. Want to sync? You’ll need dropbox. Why?????

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync

*2025-09-24, version 3.72*

The app no longer supports custom Caldav servers, or at least not Fastmail. And there’s no support.

### 1/5 — Garbage update

*2025-09-20, version 3.71*

They removed the add functionality in their UI rework, so you can’t even add tasks. Amateur hour.

### 1/5 — Where did the “+” button go???

*2025-09-19, version 3.71*

I use this app daily, hourly! And now the most critical piece is missing: the ability to add a task with the “+” (add task) button. Please fix this immediately. Nothing I have tried (force closing the app, restarting the phone, etc. ) has worked. And it looks like I am not the only one. This app is critical for my workflow and managing all my work, home, financial, personal, and hobby “to do” tasks and if it is not fixed I will have to switch to a competing app very soon.

### 1/5 — No button to add tasks on iPhone

*2025-09-19, version 3.70*

Since the new update, there is no longer a button to add tasks! Please fix immediately so I don't have to go find another app to use!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best…for 20 years

*2026-07-16, version 3.89*

I have used this app every day for 20 years. It is amazing. It has all the capability you need; but is simple and intuitive. As the years go on, my only wish is that it continue to grow in communication with other apps (native and otherwise, perhaps even integration with AI tools). Also, if a “tip jar” was ever added, I would gladly show my appreciation!

### 5/5 — Lifelong user. Highly recommend.

*2026-07-13, version 3.89*

I’ve been using this app for yeeeeaaaars. I rely on this app to get me through life, it seems. Lol. I love all the options. You can make it as simple or complex as you want: reminders, lists, birthdays, checklists… I plan on using this app forever. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Underrated GOAT

*2026-07-04*

I bought 2Do in 2012. Since then, I’ve dabbled in other task managers: Todoist, Things, AnyDo, TickTick, Omnifocus, pen and paper. Frustration with my latest system brought me back to try 2Do again, and I’m blown away once again by how well designed the app is. Things makes you adapt to their system, but 2do adapts to yours. It’s an excellent app.

### 5/5 — Amazing features

*2026-06-28*

I’ve tried most of the popular to-do apps out there and this is by far the best—features, UI, flexibility to support any task management approach. My only regret is the name which Siri relentlessly interprets as “TO-do” rendering it useless for dictating tasks.

Update: since the last release it keeps crashing when you return to the open app. Please fix. 🙏

**Developer response:** Would appreciate if you could try v3.14. Siri is already supported, along with new shortcuts. Dark mode will come with iOS 13.

### 5/5 — Essential

*2026-06-23, version 3.89*

Couldn’t live without this app. I’d be lost.

### 5/5 — Quite simply exceptional

*2026-05-21, version 3.89*

Been using it for like 10-20 years, best to do list ever

### 5/5 — Best for me

*2026-05-17*

Good old friend

### 5/5 — 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

*2026-05-09, version 3.89*

Siempre mejorando

### 5/5 — Essencial

*2026-04-29*

### 5/5 — Truly A Hidden Gem!

*2026-04-28, version 3.89*

It’s no exaggeration when I say that I’ve tried nearly every task management app that’s compatible with both the iPad and iPhone. Some were outstanding and that includes Apple’s very own “Reminders” app, however the user interface was not for me. Some included many of the features that I wanted such as locations, but the pricing was far more than what most people would consider fair. There were apps like “Things 3” that came so close, but was ultimately just too simple as it didn’t work the way my thought processes worked. “Tasks: Todo Lists & Kanban” was practically perfect, well, until I saw the price. “OmniFocus” also seemed to nail it, but again, the cost was far north of what I would have liked to pay. The list goes on… and on… and then on some more. I practically tried every “to do” app with a free trial period, not to mention that I just purchased any apps in the $10 to $15 range that didn’t include trials. I’m sure you get the idea, but the bottomline was disappointment due to one issue or another.

I was actually at the point where I finally thought that I had tried everything, so I settled on “Things 3” as that would have worked the best for me with a lot of tweaking. That night, I was up late searching the web for various workarounds to setup Things as close to what I wanted as possible. I really needed documents or photos (a dedicated iCloud folder was the most viable option), and I definitely needed a way to sort priorities and associate people with individual tasks (tags took care of much of that). During that search, I came across a post that mentioned how the OP absolutely loved “2Do,” but no longer found it usable due to the incompatibility with Apple’s Reminders. Basically, this is because “2Do” primarily uses CalDAV for its sync mechanism, however Apple dropped CalDAV support for Reminders with the release of iOS 13 (and macOS 10.15). The thing is, that’s not really a problem, it’s a solid feature and good programming!

That was the first time that I came across “2Do,” and I actually really like how they opt for CalDAV as that’s a mature, robust, and feature rich way to go! It’s also extremely stable! So, I didn’t hesitate to give 2Do a try and was absolutely thrilled that I did! Ultimately, I went with Dropbox for my sync solution. There are numerous advantages, but the bottomline here is that the sync options are flexible, meaning that you have more options to access your data. I started using 2Do the next day, but that was more to get a feel for it before moving any live data over. I would say that it works very closely to how my own thought processes work, and therefore it was highly intuitive. Anything that wasn’t immediately obvious was very easy to figure out. The developer also has many resources to help you get started and to answer questions. The intuitive nature of 2Do is good because it’s chock full of useful features! The thing is that it’s not overloaded with features, everything seems to be extremely well balanced for common sense use. Frankly, this is by far the best mobile task management app that I’ve ever used, and very likely the best overall!

There are far too many features for me to point out here, but their website goes into further detail. Additionally, as of the last week of April 2026, I see that 2Do was last updated just one week ago! Based on the copyright date, 2Do has been in development for 17 years! That’s an extremely mature product, so I’m confident in using it. I would ultimately say that 2Do brings in the best features of “OmniFocus” (at a fraction of the price) with the simplicity of “Things” (both having a perpetual license), however it could certainly be described as “desktop class.” This product is some serious software!

So far, I’ve only been using 2Do with live data for a couple of days, but it’s already proven itself extremely useful. I would also have to recommend 2Do for anyone with ADHD as it will be a tremendous asset. I don’t know why I haven’t come across this product sooner, but it’s truly a hidden gem, and as they say:

“Better late than never.”
