Could use an update *2018-08-22, version 1.1.7* Awesome game. The controls are spot on and the play is phenomenal. The sounds of the engines are extremely realistic especially the idle of the motors. However for a game that’s 8 yrs old and STILL $4.99 it could use some updating like adding a new track or two when you complete a career at each level. Would love to see a option to start a new career with a different truck AND be able to increase its racing ability under the same user profile instead of just only one truck. Give us some option for that $4.99. All that being said I still play it daily. Lol ### 4/5 — Fun... But a bit easy *2012-01-30, version 1.1.2* Don't get me wrong this game is cool. It is pretty fun to slide around the corners and stuff but it gets pretty easy. I usually pass opponents with no problem at all. I also never need to let off the gas, even when going around hairpin turns. It's fun and is worth the 99c but needs an update with harder turning where you have to brake to get around the turns and stuff. ### 4/5 — Some things need to be added *2011-08-16, version 1.1.2* This is an amazing game but I would really like it if there was a specific map that you could just ride around in. No boundaries or anything. Similar to the training grounds in supercross. I also would like there to he a bounce when you land. As soon as I played it I realized it is in my opinion the best racing game out there. The controls are spot on, the physics of the vehicle are better than any other game out there and it is a game that is very hard to put down. Could use truck damage feature, ability to wreck, longer races, stadium races, point series, more variation in terrain - in short, a little more game. But I am glad I didn't pay $5. Something just seems missing, and the level of excitement is low. But it is pretty. The physics are nicely balanced, and it's a fun challenge. On my 32gig 3rd gen touch (ios4) it runs super smooth. For one j would like to see better quality graphics in trucks in-game. Also I would like to see better physics (i.e. Suspension compression, rollover, etc) and maybe a cockpit view. I would love to see an update that makes this thing POP on retina display! ### 4/5 — The game lags on Iphone 3G *2010-08-18, version 0* The game is nice, but it lags alot on my Iphone 3G vs Ipod touch 2G. Both have IOS 4.0.2 and are not jailbroken. Example: playing multiplayer on ipod and iphone, iphone is allways behind by ~50% and makes winning impossible. I would like to be able to buy parts like; shock set up, wheels and so on as you win each race. When I'm playing Race/Career/Pro, I'm disappointed. For example I’m near to the finished line already and I’m the 2nd then I over take the 1st one so I’m the 1st already but after the game the result I’m the 3rd sometimes 4th. Lol. While your track is running, you see that they can over take you so that you could see if what your position is. I was sad that it stopped working with the latest iOS update (14.2). I was excited to see this newer version which indicated that it worked on my iPad. I removed the prior version and then paid for this new one, but I’m experiencing the same issue: the opening splash screen displays and then, where the video used to start, the screen just turns black and locks up. I sincerely hope this can be fixed. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2017-05-11, version 1.1.7* The game consists of little more than holding a button (the gas pedal) and turning. There is very little actual racing action against other trucks, the tracks are too easy, each race takes way too long to complete, and there is no gameplay involved. It takes several restarts for the gas pedal to work, which glitches during all restarts etc. I've been playing this app for 4+ hrs and achievements are impossible to add points. You don't come close to beating the 6th or 7th place truck. So the $5.00 app is not worth driving the 5 tracks which you will get blown away. You pass trucks and still come in 8-9th place. This is a MONEY robber!!! I own all the other 2xl atv, supercross which blows doors over this app. ### 1/5 — Where is the Retina Display Support? *2010-08-14, version 0* Description said high quality graphics for iPhone 4 and iPad. This game was not optimized for the Retina Display on iPhone 4. I'm tired of devs misrepresenting their apps with the promise of HD quality and they don't even update their icon for the Retina Display, let alone their app. I was very disappointed by this when the game itself actually pretty good. True HD graphics would make this game extremely immersive and hard to put down. I'll rate better once there is an update. Especially considering this is really the only dirt racing game I've found (that truly isn't a rip off). Would love to see more rally racing. Like directly related to WRC. Anyway, controls are off in terms of drift I can totally agree. Upgrades to trucks and more tracks would be awesome. Especially a create your own track. Main reason this game isn't getting an extra star is because it will not connect to the upgrades online service no matter where I am. My wifi is wicked fast both at my place and work. I also noticed the games from 2010 so I've been wondering if their servers still exist. So in all, fun but if you're a true game racer, pretty easy and you'll have some complaints. ### 3/5 — Decent. BUT!!! Overall this game is a blast. Especially for the $. Try arcade setting / any difficulty level / and hood view, and if you can't enjoy that your just expecting way to much.
