### 2/5 — 2 apps

*2026-08-13, version 1.1.6*

I have to use two apps from same company to run my blinds that were installed 2 years apart. Why not just have one app?

### 4/5 — Great to have

*2026-05-12, version 1.1.6*

It works great and being able to setup scenes and schedules is really nice. My only complaint is that the status doesn’t update regularly. So if you use the remotes, the status of the blinds doesn’t update in the app, even if you do a pull-down refresh when you load the app.

### 2/5 — Awkward clunky

*2026-04-28, version 1.1.6*

Not user friendly

### 3/5 — Works but has issues

*2026-04-06, version 1.1.6*

Manu things are quirky with the app, status of the blings in the main device menu are often wrong, going to wash device directly is usually correct.

It’s a little hard to you, doesn’t follow common and standard UI structure so you have to learn this as opposed to just use it the way 99% of all other apps like this work.

### 3/5 — Works fine, but no integrated Apple Home support

*2026-03-19, version 1.1.4*

We love our 3 Day Blinds, and this app works pretty well. There are a few quirks like finding the hub firmware update. It would be nice to see an update to add Matter/Apple Home support, or the option to purchase an updated hub. For blinds this nice, it’s a bummer not to have them integrated with my other smart devices.

### 3/5 — Just Ok.

*2026-02-22, version 1.1.4*

Not very accurate. Needs to be upgraded

### 2/5 — Fair minimum only meeting blinds app

*2025-12-09, version 1.1.4*

App is fair and accomplishes basic tasks. It’s clumsy to use. Shade transport controls are poorly situated and while there is sliders meet only the minimum requirement for a shades app. Battery percentage is not displayed and battery status is only poorly displayed as charged, needs charging, or charging in very small depictions. In addition I have multiple motorized shade types and shutters from this company and separate hubs with separate apps are required. Little uniformity across products.

### 2/5 — App

*2025-12-05, version 1.1.4*

While the app is user friendly, command selections are constantly delayed so I use the hand held remote so I don’t have to consistently adjusting where I want the blinds to stop.

Positive: You can label each blind ( Master, bathroom) to easily select the room you would like you adjust the blind.

Handheld Remote: Antiquated remote.
1) Blinds are listed numerically unlike the phone app. Therefore, if you have lots of windows you have to memorize the number assigned to each blind.

2) Unable to automatically select the blind you would like to adjust. You can only move to the blind you want to adjust by moving numerically through the options…For example if I want to adjust blind 8, I am only able to get to that blind by either moving up or down from the last window I adjusted.

### 3/5 — Confusing interface, generally reliable

*2025-11-26, version 1.1.4*

The app mostly works, but is hard to figure out how to set up. Sure your rep can help you the first time, but after that I don’t find intuitive (and I work in tech so I’m fairly tech-savvy). It’s just a lot of clicking here and there and this other place until you find what you want to adjust. And I’d say generally reliable because while it works as intended 90% of the time, recently half my programming randomly disappeared and I had to reprogram it. I reached out to tech support but never got a response. That was super annoying and made the poor interface all the more apparent.

### 1/5 — Can connect the hub

*2025-10-07, version 1.1.4*

Tried five or six times to connect the hub to my WiFi to no avail. No amount of troubleshooting helped. I’m gonna guess I’m not alone in this struggle.

### 2/5 — Buggy, Not friendly

*2025-09-30, version 1.1.4*

Charging not accurate. Impossible to reset password. Scenes and other features not easy to use. The remote is better.

### 1/5 — No more functional app

*2025-09-11, version 1.1.4*

Only glitch, disconnect, and un functional app

### 2/5 — Horrible app

*2025-09-06, version 1.1.4*

No idea what I’m doing. I managed to make the blinds open and close but it makes no logical sense.

### 3/5 — Can’t trust this app

*2025-08-22, version 1.1.4*

After spending an hour setting up 7 shades on one device, I tried to add another device. Everything I had set up disappeared! Shouldn’t all that data be stored in my account? I had to spend another half hour resetting everything including naming each shade. I also tried to change timers and I couldn’t delete timer settings. Finally, I set a timer to open 3 shades in the morning, but only 2 will open. When it works, it’s a great app, but the quirks will drive you nuts! I can’t believe I can only use the app on one device and I’m just hoping everything doesn’t disappear again.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2025-08-18, version 1.1.4*

This app is like Russian roulette trying to figure out what percentage you want and which scene you want. The timer, scenes are very, very confusing. Not user-friendly at all.

### 2/5 — 3 Day Blinds

*2025-06-17, version 1.1.4*

Keeps logging me out!

### 3/5 — Need an upgrade to the APP

*2025-06-13, version 1.1.4*

App needs an upgrade to better show the state of battery charge, current look is confusing and inadequate

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2026-07-24, version 1.1.6*

Troubleshooting efforts failed

### 1/5 — Unreliable App, Unreliable Automation

*2026-06-24, version 1.1.6*

The 3 Day Blinds app is incredibly frustrating. It works intermittently at best. Sometimes the blinds respond to manual controls, other times they don’t. The timer and scheduling features are even worse—one of the main reasons to have smart blinds, yet the schedules only seem to work when they feel like it.

For a premium product, the app is unreliable and inconsistent. Having to constantly check whether the blinds actually opened or closed as scheduled defeats the purpose of automation. The hardware may be fine, but the app experience is terrible and needs significant improvement.

### 1/5 — What happened???

*2026-06-14, version 1.1.6*

We’ve had our shades for a couple of years now… the app worked perfectly. Then a couple of days ago, I went to open the app and had to log in. I did and got a pop up saying my username or password were wrong… so I reset it… three times. It still didn’t work. Very disappointing…
Especially with the amount of money we spent on these blinds. What the actual ****, 3 Day Blinds???

### 1/5 — Overpriced Blinds With a Broken App

*2026-05-27, version 1.1.6*

Absolutely terrible experience with 3 Day Blinds and their app. The blinds themselves are fine when they actually work, but the app connectivity issues are beyond atrocious. Constant disconnects, devices randomly going offline, commands failing, and endless troubleshooting just to open or close blinds. For the amount of money these systems cost, the smart functionality is embarrassingly unreliable. The app feels unfinished and frustrating to use daily. Customer support offered basic reset steps that solved nothing. I expected convenience and automation, instead I got constant headaches. Would not recommend if you plan on using the “smart” features.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2026-05-14, version 1.1.6*

Inconsistent, things never working, app doesn’t sync with house. Bad customer service as well

### 1/5 — Ridiculous

*2026-04-19, version 1.1.6*

Extremely hard to view your products. It’s like trying to break into Fort Knox. I just want to shop for shades. Why are you making this so difficult?

### 1/5 — Use to work

*2026-04-09, version 1.1.6*

This worked until 6 months ago and now my screen is completely blank!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work reliably

*2026-02-02, version 1.1.4*

Manually opening and closing blinds is now flaky. Schedule worked exactly once and now doesn’t work at all. When using the app directly, half the time the blinds don’t open/close even though the app shows 3 bars of signal to the blinds. When I retry a few seconds later it then works.

### 1/5 — Not reliable

*2026-01-24, version 1.1.4*

Have had nothing but issues since installed. Chargers don’t work well and batteries do not last. Require much attention and repair. Would not have spent the money.

### 1/5 — 2010

*2025-11-14, version 1.1.4*

This app should be revised and updated to 2025, its living in 2010. Lags, not user friendly, not convenient, I’d rather use the remote

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2026-03-21, version 1.1.4*

Awesome!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-10-13, version 1.1.4*

Really well done and has everything you need to automated and manual control, and setup/adjustments.

### 5/5 — Satisfied

*2025-06-06, version 1.1.4*

Have had these blinds for over 5 years and never had an issue. I have them set up on multiple daily timers so they get used quite a bit

### 5/5 — Pretty Good

*2025-05-19, version 1.1.4*

The app is easy to use with great options like sunset and sunrise times for automatic operation.

### 5/5 — New Installation Hub Won’t Connect

*2025-05-17, version 1.1.4*

Just had three shades installed but the installer could not get the hub to connect to Wi-Fi. I set up a 2.4Ghz channel on my router and I have been trying to get it to work for over an hour. The 3 Day Blind hub just keeps timing out. Customer Support is closed until Monday. I was really expecting to be able to put the blinds on a schedule for sunset.

### 5/5 — Blinds experience

*2025-04-23, version 1.1.4*

Amazing product.

### 5/5 — Works perfect

*2025-03-02, version 1.1.3*

Works perfectly, so easy to use. Wish it worked with HomeKit! Maybe in the future.

### 5/5 — So far, very impressed!

*2024-08-01, version 1.1.2*

I installed the blinds, configured the remote, hub, and linked Alexa and Siri myself. Only instructions supplied were about pairing the shades to the remote. I found YouTube videos to get the rest of the information needed. The shades, honeycomb blackouts, are a pretty clean mechanical design and run very smoothly. I was impressed that I could tell Alexa to set any blind to any % position. I created scenes to handle the 5 shades in the room to all go to different preset positions. I used a timer feature to close everything 90min after sunset. All-in-all the App seems stable and was fairly straightforward to set up. So far we are impressed overall and are hoping that the setup remains stable.

### 5/5 — Love the App

*2024-03-16, version 1.1.1*

Reliable and works great, very happy with it

### 5/5 — 3 Day Motorized Roller Shades

*2023-12-16, version 1.0.9*

Love how they look and the ease of using them! I programmed them to open and close at the same time daily! I can also tell Alexa or Google to open & close on demand!
