### 2/5 — No longer displays correctly in iOS 13

*2019-10-04, version 1.63*

Loved this in the past but, as of iOS 13, it is unplayable. On my iPhone 8 Plus it zooms in until only a fraction of the screen is visible.

### 4/5 — Like it but why latest OS is a requirement

*2010-05-18, version 0*

Love this game but a latest OS requirement is not nice. What if one does not want to upgrade the OS! I am happy with what I have and not ready to upgrade I doubt there is anything special for the iPhone or iPod that needs to cause an upgrade. I understand that the iPad is now supported but don't force users to have to upgrade the OS. Other vendors did not do that.

### 4/5 — Good, but...

*2008-12-01, version 0*

Great app, fun, adictive... but too easy :). I can bowl a perfect 300 every time with the lane oiled to the max and on the max throw dificulty. Just start straight up on the far left edge (or right) until you reach the arrows then move straight across to the other side, over all the arrows. Works every time. There should be an option to choose your ball weight and perhaps a starting position to make it a bit more complicated. Other than that it's worth the price. :)

### 4/5 — Uhm...

*2008-11-28, version 0*

I understand people are realizing that $10 for an app is a bit much, like pangea did for Enigmo, and how people are doing sales and lowering the price...

I got this game when it first came out and i liked it. Then it was lowered till $.99, no big deal. Now to get more sales you put it free for a day. I about flipped when I saw it was free.
We are your loyal customers and you should promote us, not people who are too cheap to spend $1 on an app. I still think it is a lovely game.

It's a bit slow on 2D now, but 3D is sooo much better.

Still mad about the free thing... Think about your loyal customers :( !!!

### 3/5 — Was an ok game

*2008-11-26, version 0*

New 3D pin physics were definatly needed. This update, however, created some new bugs to address. Fallen pins roll through the standing pins when they should either stop at, bounce off, or knock over the standing one depending on speed and location of contact. Pin physics processing needs to be more efficient because the game looks like the pins fall in slow motion.
Next time, wait until the major update is ready to release before the announcement. There won't be any pressure to rush it. This just seems like it was released prematurly just to shut people up. Polish the 3D engine and make the gameplay solid first, then whatever bells and whistles you wish to add. This update was the only reason I kept the game, but I will wait to see how future progress will be. As buggy as it is, this game is finally heading the right direction.
Gameplay sometimes freezes, but menu is still accessable to start over.
With so many buggy games out there, I feel more like I'm beta testing than playing them.
High scores do work. There is a separate high score for each throw difficulty level.
1.22 Update. This seems to be what was intended for the last update. Haven't played much yet, but everything seems smoother

### 4/5 — Looks good, plays bad

*2008-11-26, version 0*

This was a great game before the update. Don't get me wrong it looks great now, but there are many flaws. First, the curve is much harder to do then it used to be. Second, when you are in the middle of the game and you try to hit the menu button, it doesn't work and just send your ball into the gutter. Last, the high scores and your initials do not display correctly. I like the knew details, and it is still a great game, it just needs some bug fixes.

### 1/5 — It was a 3-4 Star game, now it's a solid 1.

*2008-11-24, version 0*

I thought this was an okay game before the last 'update'. Since then, I am not enjoying it at all. The problems:

 - Scores do not show at the end of the game or on the high scores list;
 - User name keeps getting changed (the first character remains an 'A' no matter what);
 - Curve is practically non-existent now;
 - When you try to start the ball from one side of the lane, there's no telling where it will go;
 - Pins are even less real than before - they look better, but they don't move right and even roll through one another, sometimes pins will even stand at an angle, defying gravity;

For an update, this is a dog (no offense intended to any canines who may be in the audience). The 1-star is for the look of the game, but if the playability of a game is so poor that I don't even want to look at it or demo it to friends, then that's all I can give it.

### 1/5 — The new 3D pins suffer from unrealistically poor dynamics.

*2008-11-21, version 0*

The developer should be praised for improving the game, however the new 3D pins and ball do not behave very realistically yet. The pins can pass through each other due to poor collision. The pins also dont have the same mass as real bowling pins. They're not tipping over correctly, they appear heavier than real pins and overall its not quite right.

I'd give the developer sometime. I'm sure it will improve. Note to dev: Please change the lane graphics and make this look like a real bowling lane.

### 2/5 — . . .

*2008-11-20, version 0*

Well this new update definetly made the game different... =\ not quite sure which one I liked better because both had their pros and cons. There are a couple of bugs, one is the accidental throw one that has already been brought up, but also sometimes when I throw a strike, it lets me throw again in the same frame. And also there are some obvious problems with the high scores. Also, the ball shouldn't get pushed around by the pins a much as it does when you throw it your hardest. The update seems like it was rushed to get out, so next time (if you don't want to be so rushed) don't promise an update when it's not even close to being done... But other than what I brought up, I do believe that it was a good update.

### 2/5 — Update broken

*2008-11-20, version 0*

I bought it when it was .99 and was perfectly happy with it, although found the claim to a top secret update silly and off-putting. The update broke the game. The ball looks odd slowing when it hits the frames, the pin drop is odd, and in general the game plays worse and looks worse. The high scores no longer works and sometimes the totals for the frame are missing. Luckily I just updated from my iPhone so I can delete this version and revert back to the last version from my iTunes software. I would rate the last version as 4 stars.

### 2/5 — crap

*2008-11-20, version 0*

So this was your big update that got pushed back for a month? Yes, the pin physics aren't quite as ridiculous now--although I've definitely never seen pins glide upright across a bowling lane, but perhaps I'm smoking the wrong kind of cigarette for that. But now high scores are completely broken and you can't curve the ball. I paid $4 for this because at the time it was the only bowling app in the store, and you fellas have made me regret that. two stars, still, because at least it loads fast and doesn't crash. But maybe you'll fix that with your next "super awesome update".

### 1/5 — Horrible beyond belief!!!

*2008-11-20, version 0*

I can't believe it. I was so excited for the "big" update. All it did was make my experience with the game worse. You can't control the ball, you accidentally tap the screen it randomly shoots the ball onto the gutter, it's horrid. I enjoyed the first one better than this update. personally, I would like more bowling allys(getting sick of the same one)maybe even player profiles besides the 3 letter name. there's a problem with the score card at the end, it dshows weird numbers, and it's getting annoying, and I have had the update 20minutes!!!! pleeeeeaaaaasssseeeeee fix this, I want to use your app, it just stinks right now......

### 1/5 — Ripoff

*2022-03-04, version 1.63*

Hasn’t worked on IPhone for over 2 years. Plenty of time to fix. This developer does nothing to fix. They should refund to everyone that bought it. Total disregard for their customer. I will never buy anything from this developer.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2021-01-02, version 1.63*

App no longer opens.

### 1/5 — Can’t play

*2020-01-08, version 1.63*

Can’t play zoomed too close only part of pic is visible

### 1/5 — Unplayable

*2019-12-13, version 1.63*

Too bad was fun

### 1/5 — 300 Bowl no longer displays correctly on IOS.

*2019-12-05, version 1.63*

Please fix

### 1/5 — It’s broken

*2019-11-30, version 1.63*

Had app for years and played off and on. Now it doesn’t work. Zoomed in all the time and unplayable.

### 1/5 — Bowling 100 Family and Sport additions.

*2019-09-30, version 1.63*

This has been a great app to play but after Apples most recent iOS update to 13.1.1 the darn app won’t start to a game to play a game. Apple has ruined the app to play this game along with glitches in Word Procesding!!!!!

### 1/5 — Spares

*2019-09-27, version 1.63*

To the reviewer that said it's impossible to pick up spares, well you need to practice. Spares are not difficult. Keep practicing. This is a terrific, fun game.

It was a fun game until I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 13.1! Now it loads improperly with an zoomed in view of a small portion of the game, making it impossible to play!

### 1/5 — Update Ruined Game

*2017-04-28, version 1.63*

I have been playing this game for years, and it was great. Now it is horrible. Whatever they did with the update destroyed the game. There is no consistency at all. Bring back the old game!!

### 1/5 — Upgrades Make it Worse

*2008-11-26, version 0*

The more they upgrade this game the worse it gets. The first 2D version was not so bad with a clean interface and good performance. Then they introduced 300 Bowl, the 3D version, and it got worse. The performance is really slow and it couldn't even post the final scores accurately. Now, with the recent upgrade they mucked up the interface design, adding a bottom menu bar that gets in the way when you're trying to toss the ball. Did a bunch of junior high nubies take over the development of this game?

### 5/5 — Works fine on my iPhone XR

*2019-12-14, version 1.63*

I have iOS 13.3 and the game displays and plays fine on my iPhone XR, it’s a good game for a dollar. Does take a bit of practice though.

### 5/5 — Don't go any further

*2013-02-21, version 1.51*

No need to if your looking for a good, I mean great bowling app. Hands down this app is the best, the other bowling apps don't even come close to matching this app. Let me explain. Great feel to this game, game play is fantastic, you understand why the pins do what they do, in other words great physics. Fast play, great graphics add icing on the cake, a cake that is one of the tastiest in the app store. Thank you developers. In closing I will say there are a ton of bowling games in the App Store with all kinds of bells and whistles
but no physics. I prefer the physics.

### 5/5 — 300 Bowl? That's how many milliseconds you'll play it.

*2010-05-08, version 0*

This game first off is extremely jaggy looking and nothing like the pictures. The bowling physics are so plain they make stale bread seem flavorful. The game gets boring after 2 minutes after you realize that you can keep getting strikes by flicking your finger the same way. Games should be innovative and original not "let's see who can flick their finger the same way a thousand times to get the same thing"

### 5/5 — Fun

*2010-05-07, version 0*

This is a one fun bowling game. It gives you a good feel of the balls when you're lining them toward the middle, or moreso to the right of the lane. For some reason I can never strike the pins on the left side too well, but that's most probably due to my vision problem. The graphics are simple but that is what make it easy to understand.

### 5/5 — Waiting...

*2009-01-28, version 0*

How much longer will I be waiting for this game? I check updates a million times a day but I wouldve never know it was pushed that far into November if I hadn't checked this out.

I'm not going to lie though...it is a good game. And I bought it long before the update was planned so it was good news to me...I just want to see it now. :P

### 5/5 — Way more fun than Flick Bowling

*2008-11-29, version 0*

I own both flick bowling and 300 bowl. trust me, this one is incredibly fun and beats flick hands down. when you add the ability to throw curves, and factor in the new pin animation, this app is unrivaled. I will confess the graphics are sexier on flick bowling but apps like this are about fun and flick fails to deliver. Flick bowing takes multiple taps between frames. With 300 bowl you just get to bowl. this is a must have app.

### 5/5 — great app!

*2008-11-26, version 0*

with the new 3d physics on the pins, in my opinion this is the best, most realistic bowling app in iTunes. There is always room for improvement though, so here are some suggestions i have to enhance the gameplay (click yes if you agree).

1) different types/colors of bowling balls, like a basketball colored ball, or a ball colored like the beach.
2) some changes to make the game a little harder (it's almost impossible to roll a gutter ball)
3) once the game is made harder, it would be interesting to see an option for bumpers on the lanes
4) a more interesting high-score board, with a list of the top 20 highscores, and a link where if you tap on one of the highscores it brings you to the detailed highscore list (like the high-score board is now)
5) different speeds for the bowling ball, so if you do a short, or a slow motion on the screen, the ball wil go slow, and if you do a long, or quicker flick, then the ball will go faster (making it harder to get strikes every time)
6) instead of a difficulty slider, have just 3 or 4 main difficulties to chose from, like "easy, medium, hard and very hard"
7) show a rack with a lost of balls to chose from....and
8) in a later update sometime it would be nice to see an option for big ball bowling or candlepin bowling (which would be harder to get strikes with)

This is a great bowling app, and with these improvements in an update i think a lot more people will buy this app and agree.

### 5/5 — The new update fixed some problems

*2008-11-26, version 0*

It wasn't perfect, sometimes the pins still fly through each other. But, it's a great game and I'm sure that will be made better with future updates. I don't think I've ever played a bowling game with perfect physics. If you want perfect put down the iPhone and pick up a ball.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2008-09-29, version 0*

I give it 5 stars. It's fun, I enjoyed it. Played with my kids and my wife. One thing I wish would come up on the next update it to be able to put more players. For once two players is not enough. Other than that I love it. Can't wait for the update, one thing worries me will it cost to update? Cuz that would really $UK.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2008-07-23, version 0*

The App worked well, and the controls were very easy to get used to. I enjoyed playing the game, it felt realistic. The graphics were decent, but this is an iPod, not a PS3. The physics were actually quite good considering this is a quick game for the iPod. As for the $5 price tag, its not horribly over priced. It could be worse, this app could be $10 instead of $5 but, with Vs. Computer and Vs. Player makes for a decent game. Its a good game, I reccomend.
