  • My favorite word game.

I'm a word dork; I'll admit it. I have several other word games, and this is, by far, my favorite. I played the PC version first, just to try it out, and had a great time. However, I was hesitant to buy a game that only had one puzzle per day, and no way to have a 'random' game. I took the plunge anyway, and don't regret it at all. You get one puzzle per day, every day of the year. Puzzles are easiest on mondays, harder on tuesdays, and so on until sunday, which are the hardest puzzles. In addition to the daily puzzles, there is an entire year of old puzzles to catch up on, so don't worry about only getting 1 per day. Playing the new puzzle daily is really great. JUST the right amount of time, and then you can play again the next day. If you don't know how to move mahjong pieces you won't have any difficulty playing. If you've never played mahjong, you might want to learn how the tiles move to avoid some frustration. Fantastic game!

  • Nice graphics, but way too easy

I love word games. I like mahjong. This seemed like a great combination of the two -- but what a disappointment! If you have any knowledge of English at all, this game will be way too easy for you. It takes no effort at all to clear the board and to beat the target scores for the day. After a dozen or so games, I just lost interest altogether. If the developers add more challenging levels it might be worth a second try sometime later. But as it is, this game is just nice graphics and no challenge whatever. I'll give it two stars for the effort, since they did a good job with the graphics and interface, but if you're a fan of word games you'd be better off saving your money for something else.

  • Brain exercise!

Great little app. Fun to play and relaxing. Saves when you close it so you can play a puzzle on and off all day if you have a bunch of short breaks. Good use of awards (like achievements) and a new puzzle every day. You can also play all the previous day's puzzles (going back many months) so there are a ton of them to do. If you like scrabble, anagrams or just word games in general this is for you. Only improvement I could wish for is a link mode like the pc version has. Hey, maybe in an update? Fabulous game!

  • Wonderful game

I love word games and MahJong, so this game is perfect for me. Graphics are beauitful, and the music is very calming. I like that there's no timer. (So many puzzle games have you rush to beat the clock... Nothing against that, but sometimes I just want to take my time.) I play this game when my toddler is napping and whenever I need a little break. It's a nice, relaxing game.
