Challenge of the Gods Bug Fix: Due to an issue with save data being corrupted, some users are losing their Challenge of the Gods idol data. If you’ve lost your data, we’ve included a fix. In Challenge Options (accessible from the opening screen), there are two new buttons. “Unlock All Challenges” will automatically unlock idols for all episode challenges and “Level Up All Idols” to set all idols to 20. We apologize for any inconvenience. For those of you who haven't lost your save data, Merry Christmas you can now unlock all your challenges and max out your idols. Episode 48: Call of Booty By popular demand, we introduce to you a whole new update with a vast new undersea area! Find water wings lying around on an island, put them on a pygmy, and he’ll dive in! Explore the depths of the ocean while hunting for hidden treasure. Use the map to locate pieces of booty while avoiding mines that turn pygmies to stone, face-huggers that impregnate you with their young, and hungry oysters that lurk on the ocean floor. Finding the first piece of booty, kicks off the mini-game and gets the attention of the face-huggers who will start to chase you. Swim and swerve to avoid them! Also, the area wraps so even if the treasure is behind you, the best strategy MAY BE to forge ahead until the treasure cross the screen to the front of you. But be warned, time is limited while the mini-game is going and the pygmy can run out of air. Collecting treasure trapped in air bubbles renews his oxygen supply. There are 20 pieces of booty to find. Can you collect them all? Be sure to take the Episode 48 God Challenge to earn the Oyster God idol! And don’t forget there are 47 previous episodes for you to explore. View the Challenges to try to find the hundreds of Pocket God interactions including the last APOCALYPTIC episode! Still haven’t had enough pygmy? Pocket God Journey To Uranus, Ooga Jump and Pocket God comics an all be found on the app store!

In cooperation with Adult Swim Games, we introduce the Adult Swim Games Skin Pack! Decorate your islands with awesome Adult Swim Games characters! Turn the island statue into Lord Ferocious from A Monster Ate My Condo, Robot Unicorn from Robot Unicorn, or Alan Probe from Amateur Surgeon. A Monster Ate My Condo gets more nods when you turn the Dodo into a Dodo/Reginald Starfire hybrid, the Doodler into Mr. Shigoto, and, weirdest of all, the shark into the Geisha Finger! Pay homage to Amateur Surgeon by splatting the islands with blood, or by using a hypodermic needle as a spear. The island's moon can be turned into the Robot Unicorn Crystal Star! And more! In response, pygmies make a cameo in Adult Swim Games' hit iOS game, Amateur Surgeon! Alan Probe must perform surgery on Baby Awoogah, a killer whale. Apparently, Baby Awoogah swallowed Oog Island and the residents are causing all sorts of problems. As you try to heal the whale, you must extract pygmies (as well as jellyfish and dodos) in order to repair the damage they've done! If you’re unfamiliar with Adult Swim Games….where have you been? Go check them out now! And don’t forget there are 47 existing episodes for you to explore. View the Challenges to try to find the hundreds of Pocket God interactions including the last APOCALYPTIC episode! Episode 47: Apocalypse, Ow! The end is finally here! All the symbols glow on the Apocalypse Temple as the final room is opened. Past the disco lies the Closet Room, where you must rescue the new guest-Pygmy Tom from his prison! Tom doesn’t necessarily want to come out of the safety of his shell, so it’s up to you to figure out how to extract him. In this room, you will also meet the Thetans, cute alien spirits with their own agenda. Still haven't had enough Pygmy? Now on the app store: OOGA JUMP! Based on the mini-game in Pocket God, we’ve created an insane new jumper with a whole new “spin” ...or should I say “slam”? Scale the heights in this jumper avoiding crazy obstacles straight from Pocket God and Journey To Uranus, including the Meteors, the Dodo, Barking Spiders and more. This jumper moves FAST as you slam bounce your way up collecting gems and avoiding the baddies…oh, and you break stuff too! Included in the game is a store with different pygmies you can play, background skins, boosts and more! On the app store this Fall. Don’t forget Pocket God: Journey To Uranus! Along with the space age version of Pocket God powers, it has an array of fully realized games. Kill zombies in Decapithon, race aliens in HoverJump, and battle dragons on Uranus. Currently on Pocket God, the comic: In the latest arc “The Pygmies Strike Back” the tribes have divided into two teams to fight back against an unknown enemy who sent the stone Gem Creature (from Gem-Cell Research). One treks across a desert to a temple where an evil presence lurks and is out to destroy ALL PYGMIES. The other team finds themselves guests of a city of friendly Bird-People... but are they all the same? An exciting conclusion is coming and their world will be changed forever! fixes Multiplayer Battle of the Gods Episode 46: Germs of Endearment To recap the signs of the apocalypse: First, we have distortions in time; then, locusts invade; third, we have debauchery on the dance floor; and now, DISEASE! In the Locust Room, a new doorway has opened that leads to The Plague Chamber, containing the Fountain of Death (cue dramatic music). It’s a creepy looking fountain decorated with skulls with putrid waters pouring from their orifices. So what do the Pygmies do? They play in the putrid water. Bad idea, Pygmies! Playing in the water infects the pygmies with a horrible plague giving them all sorts of nasty symptoms, including an inability to hold down their lunch, before they just drop dead. Many things they come into contact with (including each other) also gets germ-love, and become contagious. This continues until disease is spread throughout the islands. To make matters worse, the dead bodies hang around and the pygmies can’t be regenerated until you burn them on the campfire. Not our happiest update! But wait, there’s hope! In just the next room, there is a Purification Fountain, that sparkles and shines with magical liquid that kills germs. Let the pygmies play in THAT fountain and they become Purified Pygmies that spread the anti-germ elixir to counteract the plague. But nothing is ever quite perfect, as purification comes with a price: obsessive germ phobia! Go away, microbes, go away! Also included in this update is Aaron Blecha's Monster Pack! One of our favorite artists made us a hilarious skin pack that is all monster, all the time! Turn the volcano into a lava-spewing Kraken, the meteor into a furry ball of horror, the T-Rex egg into a booger, the outhouse into a hungry monster (best not to think about that one too much), and much more! And don't forget the iOS5-powered Battle of the Gods Multiplayer! This adds a fun new dimension to Battle of the Gods where you can play the battle with real people! In the latest issue, an accident has resulted in Teela being shot down by the shark laser so the Pygmies must hurry the gem transfer process before she’s lost forever! Will Teela really be dead for good? Read the issue to find out!

Episode 45: Dance Dance Execution It’s the end of the world as they know it, and tonight the Pygmies party like it’s 199,999,999 B.C., which makes no sense since B.C. years count in reverse. But what they lack in counting skills they make up for in moves (like Jagger). Because deeper in Apocalypse temple lies the Dance Room, where the Pygmies can either boogie on the dance floor or shake it in the go-go cage. There’s also some organic party balloons filled with a gas that the Pygmies breathe in order to sound like a certain "David after Dentist", the Youtube sensation: “I…I feel funny.” But that’s not all! This update has our first mini-game since the Battle of the Gods. And you've probably already guessed that it’s a dancing game! Place a Pygmy on the center platform to begin Dance Dance Execution. In a cross between Tap Tap Revenge and Dance Dance Revolution, you must tap the icons in time with the beat, while the Pygmy dances for his life...literally! The dance loop, like the majority of the Pocket God loops, was composed by Grammy winner Christopher Tin, and features the voice talents of Brett Pels. To celebrate our party update, our custom pack this time around is, what else? A Dance Pack! “Dance Pack Three” (99¢) features the Elaine Dance, Kony Guy Naked Dance, Hammer Time, Double Dream Hands, Bad Zombie, and the YMCA. Also, we are proud to introduce “The Pygmy Theme,” written and performed by “Nerdcore” punk superstar Parry Gripp! Parry is not only known for leading the punk band Nerf Herder, but he is also a solo artist that produces insanely catchy pop songs and YouTube videos. Special thanks go to Chris Kennet for the Dance Dance Execution poster and for animating the pygmy dances. This is an all-star update, and we thank all our contributors at parrygripp.com, christophertin.com,davidafterdentist.com, brettpels.blogspot.com, and crikeyboy.blogspot.com! ********** And don't forget the iOS5-powered Battle of the Gods Multiplayer! This adds a fun new dimension to Battle of the Gods where you can play the battle with real people! Go into the battle arena and, in the battle selection screen, tap "multiplayer" to sign up.... and you can challenge random players, your friends or your family to play you in the Battle of the Gods (on their device, of course)! Episode 44: The Perfect Swarm The countdown to doom gets a whole lot grosser with this installment! The blocked door in the temple’s Chamber of Time has been opened, leading to the frightening Locust Room. Inside is an enormously disgusting Locust Queen who can birth a swarm of locusts, as long as she is given sustenance--and you can guess what her favorite food is! Once the swarm is created, experiment to see what they can do. For instance, they can harass Pygmies, toss ‘em around, slice 'em up “Fruit Ninja” style, or even turn pygmies into mutant locusts themselves. Weird!! Find all the locust interactions to earn the Locust God idol for Battle of the Gods. This idol was designed by our buddy Aaron Blecha of Monstersquid.com along with the awesome poster. This is our second installment involving the temple on Apocalypse Island. The END (of what?!) is coming! Speaking of guest artists, we are trying something new by having our favorite designers create skin packs. Josh Ellingson (JoshEllingson.com) created a very cool, if somewhat nerdy, Mondo Pack to decorate your islands! He taps into nerd culture (with a retro flair), including toys, monsters and sci-fi. The meteor becomes a 12-sided die, and the outhouse transforms into Dr. Who’s police box! And there’s a sock monkey in there to boot! And don't forget the iOS5-powered Battle of the Gods Multiplayer! This adds a fun new dimension to Battle of the Gods where you can play the battle with real people! Go into the battle arena and, in the battle selection screen, tap "multiplayer" to sign up.... and you can challenge random players, your friends or your family to play you in the Battle of the Gods (on their device, of course)! Coming soon to Pocket God, the comic app: the Pygmies finally find the female Pygmies' home and can see about fixing their magic gem of life in the new story arc "Gem-Cell Research!"

  • Nostalgia

5 stars for the pure nostalgia. I loved playing this back in high school with my friends. I randomly thought of this game and went to search it. To my surprise, it’s still up on the App Store. Unfortunate that it hasn’t been updated in 7 years but I’m sure there’s a good reason. I think I’ll download it just for the nostalgic overload.

Thank you for creating a memorable and everlasting game. I’m hopeful I’ll see a surprise update someday.

  • Old Favorite

This has been one of my favorite games since I was a kid. It is sad that it hasn't been updated in awhile, BUT, I don't blame the creators. Even if it hasn't been updated, I always find myself coming back to it eventually. It's a good game, and I can play it FOREVER without getting bored, new update or not. Even if there's not a million things to do like in other games, the things that are provided are genuinely really fun. I love this game a lot, and I doubt that'll ever change

  • Wish it could get updated

I love this game and it still mostly works but the quests don’t seem to and the screen doesn’t fit my phone! I wish you guys could update it to fit newer phones and get quests to work again! :) hopefully this will happen definitely think people would play a bit more if so!
