A great teaching tool
What an excellent application for flight instructors to teach and demonstrate the basics of a complex instrument. All those diagrams I have drawn over the years can't compare with this demonstration of the real thing! Don't even dream about using it in an aircraft - it's not intended for flight. Pointless
I was all excited this morning I got to the airfield dragged out the plane, flew around for a while trying to get the AH to work and realized my turns were better balanced than I thought the AH could not register the bank angle at ALL . (pointless no gyro) I would like my money back please.Glenny306

I wish i had that on my last flight
The app is great is does what it says on the tin. I wish i d had it tonight in that very bumpy flight i was just on. Being able to zero the instrument is great but i wish you could also "reset" it also back original levels once you zeroed it to something that wasnt quite straight (ie. The value of the iphone accelerometer) please add this and i ll give you another 2 stars! ;)Show lessGFonne

Accelerometer based simulator horizon works well and best of all it can be zeroed. For obvious reasons it won't work in a real aircraft soy to lack of gyros.C. Iphone
