  • Bug

Love the app but in the last few days there’s been some bug - each time I open the app, a message pops up saying my “Workout Info” setting is off (and it actually isn’t, it’s ON) and asks whether I want to end the plan or shows a button to open the Settings. There’s no way to get rid of this message other than click one button or the other.

  • Great app

I love this app so much. The workouts are flexible to my ability and the amount of equipment I have available. But I think a cool addition would be if users could make their own workouts, by adding certain exercise moves, like adding sit-ups, adding pushups to create our own personal ones. Because for me I am still healing for a broken tail bone and most of the amazing workouts include sit ups and crunches and they are really painful on my tailbone. So making my own workout would be helpful in being able to add exercise I love and removing sit-up or any excessive which put strain on my tail bone

  • Fantastic app

Was a godsend through six months of lockdown, and I’m still using it. My only suggestion would be to add an individual equipment available option in the workout search (you can select what you have available when doing a plan, but not for individual workouts outside of that - instead it’s just No Equipment, Basic, or Full Gym). Would also be great to be able to search within saved workouts, or arrange them by length, focus etc. Otherwise absolutely no complaints - have recommended it to so many people!

  • A problem with the class format option.

I love love love this app, I have actually been using this app for YEARS. It’s brilliant. The updates that they’ve made throughout the years make it my go to app when I need a quick workout .. and it’s been a star during this pandemic and unable to go to the gym. However, they’ve made a update to the app that just annoys me a little, and I’m hoping that the developers can change it. They’ve created workouts with different types of platforms. For example you can have a class format or a blackboard or you can use the option they had before. Which is great, except the fact that the class formats aren’t ideal all of the time, and I wish that I could have an option for when I don’t want a class format, like instead have it as a blackboard work out, or the count down ones of the past. Also the programs don’t seem as tailored to you anymore which isn’t very nice - although I do like the fact that it gives nutritional advice. Still a fantastic app, just really hate the class format option!

  • NTC Premium/On Demand

I would love to give this a 5 star rating, but I honestly find it extremely insulting that the Premium/On Demand option is only available to Americans. UPDATE JULY 16: Still waiting for NTC Premium to become available in Canada. This shouldn’t be hard to accomplish.
UPDATE DECEMBER 2020: And still waiting for NTC Premium to become available in Canada. This shouldn’t be hard to accomplish.

  • App doesn’t let me pick a plan

I used to be a big fan of this app, it has great variety of workouts and great tips. I have been with Nike plus for so long and it helped me along both training and running app. But recently it has been giving me problems, it won’t let me pick a plan and it crashes every time. I have tried reinstalling it and everything and still the same. I hope you guys up your game, with apple releasing the fitness plus this shouldn’t happen.

  • Exactly what I Wanted

I did some research on comparisons of fitness apps. I downloaded this during Covid so I was looking for something that would guide me through workouts at home without a ton of equipment. This app is great! Everything is sorted by difficulty and types of equipment you need. I’m currently enjoying premium for free due to covid so I have access to all workouts it seems. This app also lets you sign up for “programs” which gives you a schedule of workouts for several weeks or longer. They will include extra videos with diet tips or motivation tips. I hadn’t lifted in a while so chose a beginner program that could be done with or without weights. Awesome workouts and a great way to get back into fitness again. I absolutely love Betina Gozo’s classes/videos. I have tried a couple of yoga workouts and I’ve loved them so far. I do wish you could Cast the videos to the TV as sometimes I get tied up trying to position the screen and nail the movements at the same time. Great app, easy layout, delivered.

  • Best Free Fitness App

I have never came across an app that does a programmed plan assigned to your level that’s free. You can do it anytime you are available and can change around things with ease. Instructed movements and videos of real people doing the exercises so you can see how it’s done. This app helped me get the goals I was after.

  • Great - but plenty of use ability improvements i would love to see

Started using this a week ago and it amazing, great easy... and its free -= so this is not a complaint... but i am finding there’s things that i want to do and it cant just be me...
When i do a workout i want to share it... but sending a photo with stickers on isn’t rally what I’m about... could there be a list of the exercises - or even output the list to text for message in whatsapp, messenger, txt or whatever... so that first request to be able to output the text of the workout not the name and the photo.
The second item is that when i look through workouts it plays the video but not sound - i really really want to hear and review those important tips when i am looking at a new exercise... hearing them in workout is vital... hearing them before when you are looking at the workout and thinking. -0 i don’t know that one... i think also needed.

  • Accessible fitness from every angle

I have always struggled to stay motivated to stick with strength training, favoring cardio exercise. Nike Training Club has given me every tool I need to succeed in becoming more consistent - the ability to filter by workout type, body part, duration of workout, and equipment (or lack thereof) makes it easy to squeeze in a quick 10 minute core workout before bed on the days I procrastinate as well as inspire me to push harder with a range of advanced options on my more ambitious days. I especially love the focus on time exercise is performed rather than reps - this has been an absolute game changer for me as I would always rush reps to be done and now I am more inclined to complete fewer reps with good form since the time limit will move me through at a reasonable pace regardless. I also want to commend Nike for making their Premium content free “for good,” due to the pandemic. It feels so great to know that unlike other offers that are set to expire, I can count on this program being a part of my health plan for the foreseeable future - my kids will be so excited to try the “Fitness Adventure” programs!
