  • I think this might be the one!

So far it’s great. I am already using this more than all organizational apps I have tried combined. This might finally be the app that can compete with my bullet journal. Have not had to use pencil and paper since getting this app. Love how it’s versatile without being overly structured. I didn’t like that a picture automatically came up with each daily journal, but it only took me a minute to figure out how to eliminate that feature. Very user friendly and easy learning curve.

  • Quite useful app

Only been using a few months but is a good simple app to help me keep business and personal tasks and goals in one place.
Wish the daily journal supported the Apple Pencil though so it was more like areal journal. I want to use colour and sketches to help record my thoughts for the day. It’s well known that actual writing as opposed to typing is more effective at helping with information and intention retention.

  • I paid for this app🤬

Back when this app was new (2010 or earlier), I paid $9.99 for it & that was a one time payment to have full use of the app without ads. I used it for 7 or 8 months & deleted it when I when I upgraded to a new phone. I haven’t used it in years. Recently I started the keto diet & thought this app might help me keep track of my carbs. Was I ever surprised that they’ve added a mandatory subscription of $9.99 per month just to use the app. How is it possible that you purchase something outright (expensive back then for a app) & then years later be told you can’t use it unless you pay a fee every month????? I feel ripped off!

  • O.K. But confusing

This program does let me keep a nice diary of things on-line without wasting a lot of time...provided everything is set up correctly. However, if you make one error...oops... you’re suddenly tracking things on the wrong day. Or you are tracking numerous separate versions of the same day. This is confusing, and the software company is not much help in advising how to get it right. Nevertheless, I do like the one option they have where you can automatically enter the current time. Also it is good you can directly enter photos (of what I am eating for example). Not all the other programs have this.

  • One App to Track Them All

This is very helpful. Instead of having fifteen different apps on my phone for tracking sleep, to dos, work hours, journal entries, expenses, calories, weight, and various odds and ends I can stuff it all into this convenient app.

PROS: You can list and track just about everything with this.
CONS: Slight subscription, and bit of a learning curve.

  • First class data body data tracking app

Have been using it for years
  • Much improved

Previously had serious issues with syncing via iCloud but this is much improved on the latest version. 5 stars from me

    Previous review:
I'm a faithful user of lumen trails and think it's probably one of the best tracking apps if you are using it on only one device - definitely a worthwhile investment BUT if you need your data to sync across multiple devices this app is unreliable and this is a longstanding and ongoing issue.
To get around this is I Airdrop my lists so I can keep them updated on my phone when I'm out and about.

  • Great help.

Am using it to write a diary about my appointments at an Expo and to add to-do’s. It is very user-friendly. I am using the speech to text a lot. I like the flexibility of it. It is easy to edit entries and to add text or images, either from the library or by taking new photos.

I also like that is independent from using data. Therefore it is particularly suitable if you do not intend to synchronise the entries with any other devices. It draws on the library as much as the images that you take on the spot. So to synchronise it constantly would mean a lot of data going forth and back. It is possible to share a selected content and that should be sufficient for most people.

It would be great to add the possibility to use the SwiftKey keyboard that I am normally using for other apps. Although my keyboard setting is set to SwiftKey it is not coming up in this app.

The other small thing is that if you want to see a close-up of any added image, the app asks you subsequently again to select the image, to keep everything regarding this entry, and to click ‘done’ - that’s three clicks, one click would be plenty for this situation. All we would need are the options to delete or keep the image after having checked the close-up view. In most cases, the blown-up image would not be used for editing purposes but just to see the details when looking at a past entry.

All in all I enjoy this very much, thank you. I have subscribed to it.

  • Lumen tracker

Perfect for what I want it for. It is the go to app for tracking tasks current and future. Once better at using the app I am sure it has the capacity to do even more useful stuff.
  • More to improve

At one time, I used this app for nearly everything. As someone that likes to keep data on everyday life things, this app was great for it. However, it seems like app updates are too slow and far between. It seems like something could be done with widgets, and PLEASE add support for the Apple Watch!

The more upgrades to the iPhone, the more this app is dated. Every update has been fluff, adding a video to the beginning with some nice music, a tutorial, a change in the pricing structure. There is so much that could be improved in this. Adding functionality like a spreadsheet, to sum across multiple categories, link them together. Adding 3D Touch capabilities to access timers or favorite trackers. Just nothing ever really improves with it. I wish they would add improvements, maybe the app would be usable again.
