In need of repairs
I really enjoyed the previous version before the 2.0 update. This version makes it extremely difficult to highlight a word, especially if it's located on either the left or right outermost column. It's very strange! Also when I attempt to tap on the first or last letter, at times it takes several tries before it takes. So frustrating! And one last inconvenience is when you finish a puzzle and go to start a new game, the category list pops up adding an extra step. On the past you would just go directly to the new puzzle. I always appreciated the ease of use on the old version--- please bring it back!! :-)Show lessUmpire17
Great!
Simple, easy to use controls. Loads quickly and I love that you can pick it up and play it for a few minutes and don't have to get caught up in a long game. As for the curse words... They haven't bothered me at all, if the downloaders of this game actually read the description there wouldn't be a problem. It's just another example of how lazy people are, before making a commitment to anything, including iPhone apps be sure to read the entire description. Great for little fingers
I have trouble highlighting words because the letters are tiny, though it looks like the developers have done their best to acknowledge that and make it as easy as possible, given the limits of the platform. Overall, it's really nice for a free app. I just wish I could use a pen cap or something other than my finger, since I can't reliably 'miss' or hit the letters I'm going for.
5 stars if you don't mind tapping and retapping to get what you are aiming at - The color schemes are great and other things they've done amaze me - IF you can tap one end and then the other, or drag your finger correctly and it's very very easy to use. It will even tell you if you found a partial word. But I have to give it 3 stars because there are (imo) other time wasters that are more fun :DShow lessMsMorgen
Not bad, works and is free
Like I said, it's not bad, it does its job and functions as a normal word search puzzle and is free which is always a plus in my book. Kinda hard sometimes to highlight and run your finger over the words so I just tap the first letter and then tap the ending letter of a word to highlight it. I get bored easy so I don't use this app much but when I do it's cool enough for being free to keep me occupied for the moment. If you like word searches then you should check this one out before buying a word search app.Show lessLoudmouth42069

I downloaded this app based on the stellar reviews but unfortunately I have to disagree with the majority of them. The advertising is a rather large banner across the top, and while this typically doesn't bother me (get what you pay for, I expect adverts with free apps) I was greatly annoyed by how *often* the ads rotated. It felt like every 5 seconds or so it would flip, and I found it incredibly distracting. I only made it through a couple games before I had to delete this app, and definitely didn't get a decent enough experience from using the free version to justify buying the full version. The tap and drag was inaccurate, and the tap first and last letters was inaccurate for letters close to the edgs of the touch screen. The word selection was also a bit boring. I'd love to give this app another go if the advertising didn't rotate so often (and if it were more relevant), but for now I'm still looking for a decent free word search.Show lessiiixvix
Not bad, but akward
Have been playing for about a week now and haven't come across any curse words, it does state in the description that they will be there though so I don't know why people are complaining about that. As far as I'm concerned it's a nice little app but the fact that it doesn't load a new game automatically is annoying, plus it's a bit difficult to highlight the words, the interface is a bit akward if you could just tap the first and last letters of the word that might make it easier than trying to drag the line. otherwise it's great for what it is, a fun little free app.Show lessPinkMamma777

TO ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT THE BAD WORDS: who cares if there's bad words? it just makes it more interesting - and if you are too afraid to handle bad words, you aren't 18, which is the age requirement for having an itunes account. it's not like they're TRYING to teach kindergarenters how to cuss people out. and if you're concerned that this app will make your little 7 year old start cussing, you've definitely thought wrong, because all young kids know cuss words, they just don't say them.Show lessKL1054
Decent
A decent app, especially given it's free. it's a word search - kind of hard to screw that up. Display has plenty of letters making 'finding' things take more than 2 seconds. If any issues: - Hard to see what is under your finger, so yuo can often overshoot your word. I like that the line changes color from dark blue to light blue when you go 'off' the path. Maybe maek it turn green when you have completed the word (and still pulling) so i can stop overshooting/undershooting the word - Played many games, and yet to see a dirty word :) - Althoguh you can have up to 8 words per game, but most games only give 3, maybe 4 words. overall, the game is worth a download and will keep you busy.Show lessJohn Mc

None of you have any reason to complain about not knowing there were curse words. It clearly says in the description: WARNING: words come from an unfiltered dictionary. If you downloaded this app without reading the description, then gave it to your kid that's your fault. Don't blame apple for letting this app through, blame yourself for not being a better parent. As for the game itself I rather enjoyed it. The controls are simple, the ads are unobtrusive, and the timer is nice to see how you're improving. It would be nice to have the option to choose how many words you find. Also, there is a bug that prevents you from selecting the last backgroud texture from the options menu. Fix those few things and I would say 5 stars.Show lessVusavi
Just Fine!!
To all those out there complaining about offensive language, it warns you!!! Take a little time to read the fine print! And I think this is a great free app, even though there may only be 3-5 words per puzzle, there are unlimited puzzles with new words each time. And it's quite easy to select words, just take a deep breath, relax and actually hold your finger on the selection for more than half a second. So quick to judge. :)Show lessHarlemTScuba
