Bowman is a great game. The only problem is that you should be able to turn the system on the other side so that if you're right handed, it's easier. Other than that, it's nearly perfect.Abicks

Was a five star
I liked the new update except for the decreesing strenght on the vs iPhone mode. That messes up the syretegy for the game, find the angle and use it. Which is hard to do when your stamina changes. Good job messing up a good game. But bird hunt is awsome.jraid
Cool
Two things that this should have (that the computer game has) is the ability to shoot the arrow 90 degrees and hit yourself and ability to hit two birds at oncepweiss
Stick to the free flash game online.
It's a weak adaptation but isn't worth the dollar to play on the iPhone. I feel a little sad I paid to play a weaker version. I know it is supposed to be about the angles and calculating the difference when the CPU adjusts its distance but... It's really just more fun to be able to guess by looking at the entire screen than bouncing back and forth between each playing while trying to do calculations in your head.

Problems

"Good" game that was "great"
I'm reviewing version 1.3, and I gave this three stars instead of the two from the previous version because the programmer listened to criticisms about the "force" option in the bird hunting feature. It's definitely great to have someone improve their product. My only two other complaints are, again, with bird hunting; this latest update "fixed" the "bug" which didn't allow for neck shots, but now you hit some birds when you have no business hitting them, and the animations look way off. Also, the scoring isn't right to me; in some games I could hit every bird but still not get 2200 points, and in others it amazes me that I've missed 2-5 birds and get 2600. There's not enough scoring richness to make a two-player game produce a result based on skill. Maybe something where you can set the number of birds and the difficulty?Show lessDionT
Don't think just buy!!!!
I hate wasting money and read every review before buying apps even after good reviews I'm still apprehensive. The graphics looked cheap and it looked boring, PEOPLE THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE!!! I find myself using my entire lunch break playing this. Get it!!! Five stars!!!!iMario3G
Update ruined
The game was pretty good before the update was added. Bird hunting is an epic fail now with the fatigue which changing in the setting does nothing, I still have the fatigue. When I play against iphone I can't get the power level above 70 which doesn't make any sense because it makes it impossible to hot the ai while he hits me every shot. Not sure if the update added this but once I finally hit him it moved him back to about double the distance making it even more impossible. Not worth buying anymore.Show lessihateB.I.A.!
Hard to control
The game has potential but the controls make it very difficult to play. The camera is zoomed in so far you don't have a good idea of the shot trajectory. Your finger blocks the power display. Shots almost never go where you expect them. If you're lucky enough to get a hit then all you do is just duplicate the same angle at full power. No real finese to the game.Show lessVoripteth
