  • Easy Free App that does what it says

Perfect for what I need. It’s an easy to use, free app that helps me keep track of rows and repeats on multiple projects. I’ve been using it for about 2 years, and have yet to encounter a bug.
  • Almost perfect.

I like this counter. I’ve tried everything and this most suits my needs. I love that I can add and link as many counters as I need to my projects. I especially love that I can “daisy chain” my linked counters. Thrilled I can add and easily view notes and photos. I currently have seven projects going and I love how organized this helps me keep them. No lost papers or battered notebooks, which leaves room for more junk in my project bag. (Yay)
My one qualm is: I wish I could highlight which counter I’m working on inside a project and lock the others.
I’m doing these fantastic lace evergreen socks rn. They’re one at a time and I have counters going for each section. I’m on sock #2 and I clear each counter and restart as I get to it. It helps me keep my place in the pattern and see what’s next. So right now, I’m tapping on the fourth number in a row of eight and even though I have them named differently, I keep tapping the wrong row and have to fix it.

  • Reliable and Great Interface

I have tried many different counter apps and more robust project/stash apps over the years. Knit Counter is the app I keep coming back to. It is easy to use, but complex enough for those complicated projects. Highly recommended.
  • Almost Perfect

Knit Counter helps me keep track of exactly where I'm at with every knitting project. It tells me which row I'm at, keeps track of repeats by linking counters, let's me know about decreases or increases. The one thing that would make it perfect for me is adding a "time elapsed" type of timer for each project. Knowing how long it takes to knit a project from start to finish is very useful for many reasons but it's especially important if you sell your work.

  • Excellent - could be even better!

Mostly it’s perfect. However, allowing iOS widget settings/access would be perfect. Then I wouldn’t have to wake my phone completely to add to the count.

I realize it allows for preventing the phone from sleeping (which is cool), but I wouldn’t mind that my phone goes to sleep if I can quickly add to the count through a widget on the lock screen!

  • Best knit counter out there

I’ve tried lots of knit counters and none of them come close. The ability to link counters any way I want actually helps me finish projects. Best knit tracker I’ve used.
  • Best Knitting Counter

This is the best app for knitting, not too complicated or long setup. Plenty of useful features to keep track of your projects makes the upgrade from the lite version a worthwhile investment. Picking up a WIP after months is easy when you know exactly which row/repeat/section you left off at. Link your rows to increases or decreases for easy shaping, create all the counters you want for each piece of your project.

  • Great app

I use the app for all my knitting. Check the website for more instructions. Easy to use.
  • Best knit counter for iPhone

I love this counter, its simple but does a great job at tracking rows per project. Also has abiltiy to link counters, a huge time saver.
  • Very Handy!

Love this app. I tried many other generic counter/tally apps but this one is by far superior and worth the $ if you work on multiple projects at once. I wish the "Info" tab was a little more robust, like maybe have a lifeline-specific tool that kept track of what row they are on. That would be phenom.
