Fantastic app, well designed and easy to use. Would love to recommend some recipes in the app so I could get to see some of those but they have many varieties out there to pick from.
  • Connection issues

Since I’ve purchased the subscription I’m constantly logged out and can’t access. This is especially frustrating while at the grocery store.
  • Hard to use

Great ideas, but I’m often unable to open the app and have to delete and download again. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I probably won’t renew.
  • Terrible

Used the free version for years. Subscription version is $58/year in Canada, takes more than 5 minutes to open—and deleted fifteen years of saved recipes from my recipe box when I subscribed.
  • Expect more paid service!

Choice, where is number of reviews??! How cheap!
  • Something’s simply wrong with this app

Great application, when it works… and hasn’t for some time. Just get the bouncing Epi homesceen, and then nothing. Every other app working fine, so it’s sadly you guys in QA slipping up. Please just fix it.
  • App is So. Slow.

Why am I watching the bouncing “i” for 20s or more after clicking a recipe link from your newsletter. Most of the time I just give up waiting. Nothing to do with my connection
  • NO REFUNDS POLICY

I purchased this bon appétit subscription because I thought that the recipes would be plentiful, unique, and delicious. Unfortunately, after trying a few, I was disappointed. I requested to cancel and refund my account. I received an email saying that cancellation is merely turning off the auto renewal function. The company has a policy for zero refunds under zero circumstances. The recipes I tried were underwhelming, and the ethnic recipes were not authentic at all. The best things you can find here are simple classic American or Italian dishes that you can find on any other free website such as meatloaf, chicken piccata or a ravioli sauce.

If you were hoping that you would be making five star restaurant quality meals for your family, you will be disappointed by this content. For almost $60 a year, it’s not the end of the world, but it is disappointing that the company does not have any recourse for dissatisfied customers. I could understand not providing a full refund if I used the app for two months, but nothing at all within a 2-week period is surprising in the customer service realm these days. They must be really hurting for money and going under. I am going to try out the New York Times instead.

  • Not working as expected

This app does not work consistently on an iPhone 8+ and has to be manually reset by developer every time you use it. Apparently firmware and Apple aren’t connecting as they should. The app is free but you have to buy a subscription for access. Something is not right!I would say app need work . Too bad really

  • Fix the glitches and crashing

As much as I want to use this app I cannot trust it and end up using the website instead due to it constantly crashing. If you swipe between screens it also refreshes each time to the top of the screen which is very inconvenient when you are cooking from a recipe. Please fix the issues as I will gladly use it!
