  • Full of bugs and won't even load on my iPad 2

Downloaded this app after finding it from essential apps section on App store. It won't even load on my iPad the first time. I quit and tried it again, it froze after loading and won't respond to anything. Can't really judge the content but this is a big failure if you make an app and it won't even load...waste of time.

  • Great app - one feature request

I really like this app, it looks good and works well, the search function and filters are really helpful, and I have an ever growing list of recipes to try. One feature I would really like to see is the ability to link favourite recipes into an epicurious account, so that I can see the same list online and on my other devices. This would make the app 5-star!

  • Impressed

I have not been using this for long but so far I am impressed. I'd like to see a better shopping list, like the ability to add my own stuff to it. And I might even pay for more sophistication here.

But in terms of recipes and ease of finding easy and an interesting ones... I'm impressed.
  • A solid app.

Since the application is free that's a sure bonus and all recipes are great but there are a few problems.
It would be nice to see a converter or automatic conversions depending on where you live.
The app also crashes time after time and this gets very, very frustrating.
Some more countries could be added and regions could be separated.
With the quantity and quality of recipes this is a great app but it still needs some improvement.

  • only use is to be able to see recipies away from my pc

I was looking for a shopping list. I use epicurious for around half my recipies, so I thought this would be great. It would be if all I used was epicurious and didn't need anything else. You are unable to add anything to the shopping list. You can not email to yourself so you can print it and add other things. All I can see that this is useful for is to allow me to either 1. see the recipies in the kitchen so I don't have to print them off, but I don't think I want to get food prep from my hands on my iphone or 2. So I could look at a recipe while I was out and about.
Dear Epicurious, please come out with a pay version that ties into my favorites on your site and allows additions to the shopping list.

  • Very good!

Well presented and pretty easy looking recipes. Being a free app, there is quite a bit of advertising as it downloads the recipe from the net. I like how it saves the ingredients into a shopping list!
