  • It's great.. But there is a problem 4 me

The top right corner of my screen still has that rock background (and my iPod works perfectly fine there). That part of the screen isn't touchable. I mean, when I touch that part, it doesn't respond. And even the waves just stop there, like there's a border blocking the waves from that corner. Other than that, it's a great app.

  • Two suggestions

    Great. I really like it.
I second the recent "blow on the water a la ocarina" suggestion.(suggestion #1) I think it fits well with your intent.
However, what would really hook me would be the OPTION to not have side walls in the pool, as if the screen were a window to a much larger pool. I'd like to use this app like a ripple tank, without side wall rebounds, so I can play/experiment with interference from waves only I make. That's #2.
    Again, great app.

  • Um...

It's ok, I guess. It has one of the things I've been looking for for a long time. However, the movement isn't too realistic, and the background doesn't move when the water is being messed with a lot. Also, after about a minute of use, the right side has a part that, when left alone, appears not to have any water on it. When I put my finger there, nothing happens, but the water to the left displays a small ripple. 4 stars at most.

  • Good for it's kind

This game is entertaining for small groups of people, or for just messing around. However, a few things could make this app much better. Sounds could be a prime addition to add to the apps appeal. A few extra things is to allow multiple fingers to 'touch' the water at the same time. Shaking the device to shift the water around could also improve this app. Other than that, the app does what its set out to do. Entertain.

  • Really neat!

I updated this app and now there is no background it won't even upload my own picture. Someone else said they had this same problem and just tried the update again, how do you do that when it says you have already installed it? Do I have to delete the app first?

Oh by the way below is my previous review but if you want fish like I did get koi pond

This app is pretty neat as it is but think, and I know this suggestion may be far fetched, but I think it would be cool to have fish that swim into the screen and scare away when you touch the screen. I also like the idea of water sound effects as you touch the water. Maybe even make it appear to spash.

  • Good for the free price but

The water sim is pretty real, but exaggerated and looks bad when too much is going on, but if u need this sorta relaxing water sim, get koi pond. Sure its a dollar but it has much better water phisics and added fish, and sound affects to ripples, this doesnt. Anyhoo, this just eats megs if u have koi pond, but if ur looking for hippie music with seizure giving water, go ahead, i ain gonna complain bout somethin thats free.

  • Time consuming

I got this app when I was looking around & at first it got pretty boring but then they added music to it & I figured out that you could add your own picture to it pretty good use of touch screen ability one thing I'd add though would be different sound tracks & backrounds that come with the app. Great job. also for those of you who ask if you can listen to your own music in the process all you have to do is click the bottom button of your i-pod/phone twice very fast & a miniature music bar will appear then just hit the play button. i also thoght it would be a really nice idea if you could also watch vedios that you've downloaded but just with the water effect.

  • It's still crud

I don't know why people are saying the original one is back because it's not. The update let's you change the speed which helps a little but it is still glitchy and too thick. If also still has the brown tint to it and seems unrealistic as compared to before and I've tried resetting and reinstalling and everything. How hard is it to make an update to put it back to normal the way it was before? Oh, that's right...you're not going to do that because you want us to get aggravated enough to buy fluid 2...forget that!

  • The original Fluid is back!!

Thank you so much for providing the option to return to the original Fluid! I appreciate the developer's try at improving the original, but unfortunately, that didn't seem to be in the cards this time around. The original just has such an organic, er, for lack of a better term, "fluid" movement that I think it's hard to beat.

  • Good but 1.2 looked better

I have version 1.2 in stalled and I updated to 1.4 to see what was new (1.3 sucked). The verdict? 1.4 does move a bit smoother but 1.2 looks far better! Gone from 1.4 are the beautiful highlights and details that made 1.2 so nice to look at. Ripples and currents on 1.2 had emmense detail that really sold the effect of realistic water. This can't be said for 1.4 as it is missing these key elements. Sure the picture wiggles around but the absence of the light and ambiance that 1.2 had really hurts the realism of 1.4.
It's the little things that count. I do appreciate the increased performance of 1.4 but 1.2 performs well and looks far better. Get those little details back into the mix and Fluid would be perfect again. UNTIL THEN I'LL BE KEEPING 1.2 INSTALLED.
     POW!
