Waste of Time
I used Photobucket many years ago. This week I’ve received letters encouraging me to retrieve my photos before it was too late.
I thought maybe I didn’t empty the account so I signed in again, clicked on free trial, provided payment info ( I should have known) and went to my account. Lo and behold, it was completely empty.
This company sent an email with false information to get me to check in and get a new account. They’re so bad, they have to trick people into joining.
I tried everything to delete the free trial but somewhere along the way, they split the rails and claim they can’t find me. It happened more than once so I know it’s on their side.
They lied and stole time from me. I hate that. Even if the app was free and good, I wouldn’t use it because the owners are duplicitous.
Find another app to use there are several free ones out there. Get out of photo bucket while you can.Show lessDeveloper Response

I get an email one day saying my account will be permanently deleted if I don’t reactivate. I haven’t logged in, for years, so I figured let me see what’s on the account. I attempt to reactivate and I’m being told I gotta pay $5 to do so and monthly thereafter. I have been living without the images FOR YEARS so I’m not paying it. The proper way to boost your bank, PHOTOBUCKET, is to allow the user to reactivate and see their photos for seven days and then screen pop in seven days that it’ll be five dollars a month to keep the account active not the other way around, that is predatory behavior. I already have an iCloud with relevant photos & storage. I’m not gonna pay you too, that’s asinine, all the best.Show lessDeveloper Response

I remember using this app years ago, it used to be great. Haven’t had this app installed on my devices in years.
