  • Love this app, am I an Anglophile?

    There’s something about the coach’s soothing British voice that makes me smile, even when I feel like giving up. That said, sometimes I get excited or hopeful when she starts speaking, only to be disappointed that I have 45 seconds MORE of exertion 🙂. Other than that, I’ve used this app a couple times over the last few years to get back into cardio health after pregnancy and general laziness. I’ve even used the interval prompts for things like jumping rope, kettle ball swings and other calistenthics as a workout when I can’t run.

  • Working for me!

    I'm only on week 2 of using this App., starting from being an older, very unfit (to the point of feeling conspicuously stupid just going outdoors in my new running gear!), computer bound couch potato in a hot and humid environment. The App. is simple and encouraging to use and I prefer to have podcasts running in the background which pauses when the pleasant voice of the App. coach gives an instruction, i.e., "30 seconds left to run before you can walk again." I'll try and remember to write an update in a few weeks time.

  • Great for the beginner

    I downloaded this app based off a friends recommendation and I love it! I never thought I’d enjoy running so much. The segments are manageable with plenty of time to recover during the walking sections. I was concerned my heart rate wouldn’t enjoy running but this program seems well designs to build up the cardio. The voice over is calming and encouraging. She speaks just enough at the right times and even turns down the volume of my music when she is talking. I’m about to start week three and I’m looking forward to it.

    I’ve recommended to several friends and they love it too. It’s design in a way that keeps pushing you to run more each time.

    Love the app, it is non-intrusive and it will pause my podcasts instead of talking over them when it gives 30 and 10 second warnings.
  • Best C25K app I've ever used

    Used this app to help a friend train for continuous running. Found it easy to use and the training plan is the most successful one I've ever used. She's over the moon that she's gone from struggling to breathe after 1min running to a full continuous 30 mins (whilst chatting). I highly recommend this app. Developers of this app need to do a 5 to 10k progression one now :)

    A really gentle and encouraging way to get into running. Great app. The only thing missing is a Apple Watch variant
  • Great Encouraging App

    Easy to use. Only improvement would be GPS so I don't have to open MapMyRun to track actual distance.
  • Turned me into a runner

    This app really works. I was a complete sedentary person, but completed the program (took way longer than 9 weeks) and three years later am still running every week. Never would have thought that would be me! It's a really motivating system. Looking back after a couple years of running and that first 20 minute run is still one of the hardest things I've ever done. Persevere and it is worth it!
