  • Got me off the couch - and I love it!

    I've never been fit, the first run was hell - I could barely walk for 3 days afterwards. BUT, every week it has been getting easier. I'm midway through week 5 and still can't wait to get out there again tomorrow. Buy the app, download RunKeeper, and do week one (SLOWLY!). If you love it after that, get a heart rate watch, it's REALLY helpful to know when you're in "the zone", and it allows you to actually see how your body is working and improving. //UPDATE: in week 9 now and running 4.5KM in 32 non-stop minutes. Not quite at 5KM in 30, but soon hopefully! I've lost 15% of body weight too!

    I am definitely not a runner, in fact I haven't run any distance of note for probably a couple of decades! So, Get Running is brilliant, it's got me running and feeling great! Thanks Get Running!
  • Fantastic!

    Never considered myself a runner, but this app has broken the thought of a 30 min run down into small manageable steps. It's so achievable, there's a group of us 'non-runners' committing to the 3x a week runs (we even ran past other 'Get Running' runners yesterday morning too) Love it!

    This is the app for people like me who didn't think they would enjoy running and who thought they wouldn't enjoy it. After buying the app and using it, I still don't enjoy the running while I'm actually doing it but I am now fit, healthy and easily run 30 mins. And I love talking about it afterwards. This app changed my outlook, my fitness and my health. Best money I ever spent!

  • This app is brilliant!

    I haven't run since high school and am now half way through this app. I never thought that I would be able to run for more than 1 minute and although I'm not yet finished, I don't doubt that I will. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to start running.

    This app is amazing! I have never run before and am really enjoying the program, seeing and feeling a huge difference in my body. Can't recommend this enough!

    Nine weeks ago I really was incapable of running more than a couple of minutes.
    Thanks to this App I now run 30 minutes three times a week and feel great.
    It does exactly as it promises - couch to 5 k. In my case I consider this to be a miracle since I'm already 57 years old. if I can do it then surely anyone can .
    I highly recommend this App to any couch potatoes wanting to run. It is well structured, works well with music playing on your iPod, and motivates you. You will experience a minor amount of discomfort when you go into the transitional period during weeks 5,6 and 7, but stick with it and your efforts will be rewarded. The information provided on running is also really useful.

  • Seriously good app

    After not doing any exercise for 3 years I am now running for 30mins. Not only that, I have given up smoking and am much healthier. This app gives you confidence in getting fit because each day has a practical goal.

    What a great programme! For someone who never enjoyed running I thought I would try it for fitness - after 9 weeks I am comfortably running 30mins and still can't believe it! Highly Recommend for anyone learning to run and increase their fitness.
