Open world fun
My kids love this game! They can drive endlessly without running into trees and rocks (that can be turned on) over all kinds of terrain. If they could choose other vehicles like fire trucks, tanks, or motorcycles, this game would be nearly perfect.Southside Canuck
I want the version before this last update back
I loved the feel of the vehicles and the tracks before this last update. I enjoyed the game when it wasn't about just speed. Now the vehicles go so fast that they aren't as fun to drive. I want the old feel to the vehicles back. I also liked having to go around the trees in the hard settingUchuman
What happened???
I've had and enjoyed this game for some time, but all of a sudden, when I try to play, the controls are grayed out and it days 'locked' with no further explanation! After some frustrated clicking, it looks like I now need to earn money to buy the cars, tracks, etc, that I used before the last update. Who's idiotic idea was this???!?

Unlike all the other driving games for the iPhone/iPod, this is the only one I've found that doesn't impose a strict track to follow, making the others little more than glorified slot car games. My only real issue is the braking: it's actually a reverse, so the it just gradually lowers the speed of the vehicle. Having reverse is nice, but it doesn't behave like a brake (the wheels never lock up, it's not strong enough, etc.). There's a "brake assist" feature on the settings page, but as far as I can tell, this just adds an annoying delay before you can accelerate again (I thought this was a bug until I turned the feature off). Otherwise, 4x4 Jam is simple and fun.Show lessTheDelayFish
Good but has problems
Like other people have said it needs more jumps... There are also 2 VERY frustrating problems... For one the land raider thingy, in a race, is extremely aggressive because when u pass it it will turn and spin you out. 2nd one is when I'm driving my vehicle and I slow down to turn or I missed a gate,the vehicle stalls for like 3 seconds and I lose races because the other vehicles outrun me... :/Show lesssharonx9
Needs more realism
I want to be able to tear up the ground the car needs to dent when it gets hit plus I want the mud and dirt to fly a lot more that it does now and mabey you could make dust trail behind the vehicle in hawaii and the dessert. Other than that u have done a great job.Rhall596
Bugs like crazy!!
This game has way too many bugs. When i first started my career i reached 6k money... I then closed out of the app and reopened it only to find all my money gone. So i started a new profile, low and behold i had a similar issue i lost a majority of my money and the 2 cars i purchased. This game is fun but fix the bugs, its rediculous that i have to keep starting a new profile over and over again. As other issues are concerned when i turn too sharp my car either slows down to a crawl or flips...the physics engine needs to be tweaked and you need to fix the "substantial loss in speed after sharp turn" issue. I finally beat the game. And for the last level use the custom truck. It only took me one try. Ad can u fix the custom truck graphics, you can see through the cab and the lights on the light rack on top disappear from behind the truckElka Racer593

One of ma favorite apps and maybe my favorite racing app and i got it for free!!! There is so many modes to play and so many things to do and get!! reallly funn app recommend to any one who likes racing apps and to those who say it has bad controls change it to touch instead of steering1234@56789

This game is just like 1nsane offroad for pc. I love this game! The only negative is that you can crash into trees or damage your vehicle, but that may have to do with the iPods capability. A capture the flag mode and capture the zone mode would be great! Also a destruction zone mode would make this game #1.Show lessking__jonah

I've had the demo for a long time. And when I saw it was free today only I had my causin pull over at every wifi spot I could. It wasn't till the next day I saw it pop up on my phone. Boy an I happy.
