Doesn’t even work with air play
It was a great app. I could listen to songs on my iPad and have the option though airplay to sent it to my AV receiver. That seems to no longer work. Support is terrible for the appMJM in Canada
Auto login please
Really hard to use for CarPlay without having auto-login. I want to use DS audio to get to music on my server that’s not on my phone. You have to pick up phone and go through login to get to your library. You have auto-login (“Remember Me” setting) for “DS file” and “DS cam” apps, please do same for this one!Show lessCsacsa
Fixed CarPlay and Chromecast Bugs in iOS 14
For anyone out there who was holding off on iOS 14 because of the bugs in DS Audio, I’m happy to report that Synology’s latest update has fixed both. The app is usable again!freeAgent85
Still can’t use the app

Was great until IOS 14 broke it
Used it all the time, now that I upgraded to IOS 14 albums are missing from my phone and a large majority of albums contain maybe 2 songs while the others are missing. They are all still properly on the NAS and I resync’d my personal folders so it’s not that. Everything was working great until the update.Show lessGermanWill
CarPlay app won’t release
When I used this app in CarPlay and come back the next morning, it shows that it’s logging in. I can log in on the phone, and the CarPlay display still shows logging in. If I start another music app, it can’t take the place of the ds audio app on the display. It’s like it crashed and won’t release.Show lesssynapsecbn
A must have for Synology users but with flaws!
It’s my go to music app and one of the reasons I use Synology.
while I appreciate the work put into this, I Synology give it more love, fix glitches and update it with:
1. Non case-sensitive smart search that can combine multiple factors like genre and year.
2. More view/ listing options (thumbnails, list, folder, etc). I know it’s implemented but not everywhere throw out the app.
3. Scrolling track info. for long tracks.
4. Display more meta data. Current view is too outdated, basic with very few info.
5. Lyrics sync (scrolling lyrics).
6. Themes or simply change the background with the album art or a blurred version of it.
so this and I’m sure it will add more value to Synology devices and us, die-hard Synology fans, and the app rating will go to 5/5.
Can’t wait for DSM 7, hoping it will bring more love to the Audio Station. Just hoping, and praying.

Does not work properly in Apple car play
First, it’s great that I can access my music on Apple car play. However, I have to log in every time I want to use it. Not helpful if you’re driving. It follows that what you were listening to prior to switching car off & coming back is lost
The App is very basic and needs to be updated.

Great app!
It’s a great app. I have been using it for years and for years, you only had to sign in once a day. Now, for some reason, it logs you off when you stop using it, even for a minute. Hoping this can be fixed.B-234
Slowly improving
I love using this instead of doing syncs through iTunes, and especially when I’m on the go. Quality is great and the storage is convenient (your experience may vary by how well you’ve set your own system up).
CarPlay is here! But... PLEASE ADD OFFLINE PLAYBACK SUPPORT THROUGH CARPLAY. Not sure if unlimited data is common elsewhere, but I personally download my songs to listen on the go. Music still plays, but it’s not convenient nor safe to have to use my phone to control it in offline mode in the car.Show lesszsakulukasz
