Excellent app

Basically the electronic version of frank shann's pediatric drug dose bible. I depend on this almost every day. Developer is a hard working doc who is very responsive to fixes and suggestions.

Much better!

The new version looks better, has more functionality and is still easy to use (take note imims...)

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. We hope you will enjoy our latest update, with a new design and new features!

Getting expensive every version for what !! Money only

Great App there is no doubt. It started with 0.99 $ to 1.99 to 4.99 to 9.99 to 14.99 to this price!!! Com'mon stop this

Response from developer

We are sorry you feel that the price is unfair. The app's price was based on the price of the booklet and is still lower than most drug textbooks.

Bug or unfair change?

At the time I bought the app 2 years ago, I believed I was paying for it once off as there was no mention of a 2 year licence period. The app now won't work as it says the "complimentary" licence has expired. I'm hoping it is a bug as I'm pretty sure you can't retrospectively change the rules through an update!

Misrepresentation

I purchased this after seeing the paediatric dosage calculator feature. But now this feature has been disabled. Looks like it's a complete waste of money.

Response from developer

As of May 2017, these features are back in the app. We hope you will enjoy them.

iOS 8

App needs to be upgraded to work with iOS 8

Good

Good app, I use it regularly. Can you fix it though so babies between neonatal weights and 1yo weights can be put into the endotracheal tube size calculator?

Must have

Excellent resource. Basic format of drug doses at your fingertips. The PICU guidelines are an in app purchase for another $5.49 which I just got, and wish I'd found sooner - ICU based, but I am a rural GP and if the proverbial hits the fan then it's good to know advice is at hand.

Great

Used daily. Quick to use. Highly recommended.

Frank shann's drug dosing

This is the reference that is used widely in australia. Gives both doses for pediatrics and adults, plus US drug names (acetaminophen), but it mainly deals with pediatric dosing, a must have for clinicians dealing with pediatric population. I was just blown away with so much useful information for such little cost. Highly recommended for pharmacists, pediatricians, general medicines.
