Love it
Love the book - love the app. The inbuilt calculator and favourites list are helpful. However, have to agree with a few small criticisms:
1. Text requires better formatting (no size restrictions as with paper copy)
2. Frank Shann should be acknowledged on the front/load screen
3. Slightly annoying that if I'm in my favourites list and click on a drug the app then takes me back to the main list of drugs and I have to press favourites again.
Overall excellent app and as I always have my phone I know I always have the drug doses

A great resource
A great resource of drug doses for the mini people. However the layout of text is awful. Why set it out like it is crammed in the book... Makes using it very difficult. Also with the wonders of modern technology why can't a weight be entered and the correct drug dose displayed? Several other pads apps are capable of this. And what happened to roast potatoes!? They were my favorite drug in the paper copy!

Update?
Where is the update? Frank's lasted edition has been out for a few months now. Help my book went missing need update on iPhone!!
Useful but limited.
Shann's book Drug Doses is well known and admired throughout the world of PICU. This is a reasonable attempt to translate this to the iphone but it lacks the infusions compatibility table, values for ETT sizes and DC shock energy (not found under the Code Blue tab) and the useful notes pages (p89-96 in the current 14th Edition of Drug Doses) don't appear to feature at all. These omissions weaken what would otherwise be an excellent app. It's a shame this couldn't have been combined with the PICU Guidelines app to produce a truly first class PICU app.

Ok...
Not bad, but just a few minor problem. One include being unable to select the lowest few drugs in the search list. Would also be nicer if the calculator is incorporated with the drug list, allowing the dose to be displayed instantly by just entering the weight.
Like the paper version + extras
If you have worked with the booklet. That is exactly what you get! Very responsive developer team, always keen to discuss suggestions (despite not being a full time developer). Loving the in-App calculator. Recommended +++. Thilo (anaes/ICU)
Just what you want
Fantastic app, buy it instead of the book for sure.
Frank Shann Drug Doses
I am happy with the product but wish you'd kept the Australian spelling rather than changing it to American, eg "lidocaine" instead of lignocaine. After all, the author is an Australian...
Excellent!
I've been waiting for years to get this app on my iPhone! Having all these PICU doses other apps don't provide is essential! And the scores and formulas is very useful too!
