Music?
I love starting my day with this prayer and reflection but why is there music some days and not others? And if I don't have the music how can I get it? The music makes such a difference!sbonucchi
Not accessible for everyone
I was hoping to find something contemplative for warship, devotionals, prayers, and other things of the like. Also, with the time constraints that I have, I thought that a three minute retreat would work great. It turns out that VoiceOver doesn't work, so I can't use it. Could you please fix this? Best 3 minute start of the day
This app is a wonderful way to start the day. After a brief morning prayer giving God the first moments of the day. I love the music and the prayers and the short thoughts that go with it. I like to sit after praying and go on this app and read the retreat then the music helps me sit and try to listen for Gods voice. The music is really beautiful. The pictures are nice too. Thank you for this app. I'm sorry for whoever complains about this app because it is free, and there are no ads. Just what it says it is .. a 3 minute retreat, and I like to sit and listen to the music longer and read from the Bible, so can be as many minutes as you wish. A step backwards
The latest release looks like a step back to a very old version. The interface looks old. The photos aren't as sharp and the white box containing the daily reflection covers half the screen blocking the photo. The whole thing looks amateurish. The previous version looked much much better.MA3259
Reflection
I agree that the scripture reflection needs to be added back. And it looks like the app has taken a step back with the big block of white background taking out part of the screen. I, too, use this app every morning. Please put it back the way it was.

Bad update
Used this app for many years but I'm on the verge of deleting it after this update. Re scripture reflections--I was initially going to state that there are no longer reflections. I just noticed that the reflections show up only when you go back from the questions and prayer. Clearly this is a programming error. There is no option to shut off music. While other reviewer states there is no music, mine plays throughout. And it still does not coincide with daily scripture readings. (Still) Needs Update!
Jan 2015 Update: Worst update I've ever seen. Minor changes to text/colors with no increased functionality. Layout remains antiquated. Additionally, the reflection after the scripture is skipped when you hit continue, going instead to the questions.

This review is not so much about the app as it is about the scripture and reflections. They are out of cycle. Loyola Press should update every year to keep it relevant. The app itself is also outdated but that is less of an issue. I use this app every morning to start my day with prayer. Overall, great concept but where is the support?Show lessJooz10
