Good, just not as good as it used to be
Have listened for many years. The station is good, but I miss the variety it used to have. It is a little too top forty in the replays right now. There are thousands of great songs out there, don't play the same stuff so much. Keep pushing the boundaries by playing new music and musicians. Always love the local touch of Texas music.

Love Kgsr!
I have lived in Austin since 1982, and remember when KGSR first began! They were the only jazz station in town, then as Austin's music scene grew the station grew. Kgsr became a display case for all of the varied and unique types of music Austin is known for showcasing. I LOVED it! After awhile Jody Denberg and Barbara Jo left the station and it became like all of the other radio stations on air. Kgsr appears to be on the mend as of late, playing more of the unique/up and coming artists as well as the groups popular on other stations. It is still miles ahead of any other radio station I have listened to since moving away to Dallas. If I could have one thing extra, it would be to remind any radio station that there is a ton of great music out there, so why continuously play the same playlists over and over again? Can't the new be interspersed with more variety?

I live in Virginia and discovered the station over 10 years ago on the Internet. Sadly, I've never been to Austin, but it is on my bucket list! I have discovered so much great music on KGSR; it's hard to imagine my life without Kelly Willis, Lucinda Williams, Los Lonely Boys, Lyle Lovett, etc. Too many to list. Thanks, KGSR!

I love this app. I use it almost everyday! I love the music that is played on KGSR. You can't hear this type of music anywhere else.
So far, so good.
Being an ex Austin resident, it's great to be able to get KGSR again. I've only listened for a while, but the app seems great. I'll give 5 stars when I can play in the background.
New version crashes on iPod touch
I've used this app for over a year, but the latest version crashes each time I launch it. I have tried restarting my iPod, which usually is all that's needed for buggy apps, but this one is now useless for streaming until they fix it.
