  • Great idea but needs more variety

I just had babies and was really excited when I saw this app. When I look though the options I found minimal for my way of life and was very disappointed by specifically no Christmas section. In Mother’s Day cards alone there was only one option for Christian based cards (what I was looking for) and none for any other religions that I recognized. Duel moms are definitely a focus for them and then cat, dog, grandmothers, and first time moms. The main cards were nonspecific and just saying ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ in different cute ways and I really liked the boho types the most. Best not to expect too much with this app because after going through multiple categories they are short sweet and to the point so don’t go in thinking you will get hallmark length or variety. I cannot attest to the quality or shipping of the products but they send an email and ask to give them the opportunity to address needs you may have.

  • Not sure this is legit

Love this concept, read reviews, seemed good so joined. The confirmation of the first two postcards I sent had incomplete zip codes showing so emailed according to instructions to see what was going on with that. That was well over a week ago and no response. They did have the correct zip on the cards, but not in the confirmation email. They say they usually respond within 12 hours, know can be busy, but I still haven’t gotten any response at all. I sent a test postcard to myself and the picture was very off center on the card, plus the people in the photo were very pink, color was poor quality. Emailed again per instructions, that was about 5 days ago, no response to that one either. Went in to at least cancel the membership but the link does not work to where it says to cancel membership. So now they have my payment information and there’s apparently no way to stop it. Buyer beware!

  • Didn’t Get Cards ☹️

I basically downloaded this app because I wanted to send a card to my significant other after their parent had a heart attack. I didn’t buy the subscription because I don’t think I would ever send out that many cards, but I did buy some credits because there is Valentine’s Day and my Anniversary coming up soon and I thought it would be fun to send some cards.
The design element was great-I didn’t need all of the fancy extras-and it was easy. At first things were going smoothly, the card was purchased and then it was posted, and then the expected delivery date came and went. I was so excited for him to get it and it was super disappointing that it never came. I have asked for the card to be resent and theoretically it’s been posted again-but I’m skeptical it will arrive.
It might be because I used credits instead of a membership.
Fingers crossed that I didn’t loose $12 but at the end of the day it’s only $12 I spent vs. what some of these other people bought for subscriptions.

  • Real Membership Costs

Ask for more details before registering for the non-refundable membership program. There are “fees” associated with the purchase of each subsequent card that are not defined in absolute numbers/dollars on the FAQ membership info or on the terms and conditions. Uncertain if these charges were intentionally left undefined as “fees” to make the buyer believe the package would be worth the expense. These fees are only shown in $ amount after the membership is purchased and each individual card is created. The charges then exceed the standard “postage” fees one would assume count as “shipping” which the company states the member is responsible for paying for. In the case of a standard postcard, the shipping/postage charge was almost double the cost of an actual US postcard stamp. This may not be a deterrent for some, but the fact that the extra fees are not clearly defined may lead to surprising charges for many and a loss of your membership $ as refunds are not an option. Best to know what you’re actually getting charged UP FRONT before you sign on for the membership. Then you can make an informed decision without regrets.

  • Not dependable!!

I ordered Christmas cards this year from this app. First order was for 36 cards. 30 we’re actually sent out. Keep in mind, even after you subscribe, which I did, you still have some expenses for each card you order. I waited and waited…sent them an email through the app…no response. No time to wait, I went ahead and ordered another set for your missing cards. HALF of those got sent out, STILL WAITING on the others. I’m not ordering them again. I asked for a refund. Sent them the first message three weeks ago…STILL no email response from that. I’ll be canceling my subscription for this app. Don’t bother using it unless you plan to order one card at a time. Which kind of defeats the purpose of the app. Bad thing is…one of the missing cards was to go to my brand new in-laws…so now I’ll have to figure out another way to get them a photo Christmas card by Christmas.

  • Excellent AND terrible

There’s no denying the service that they provide is really cool. But the membership model is offputting. I got the app, got a year subscription and wound up never using it after my first time. Then when I went to cancel the whole process was awful.

You have to do it from their website not the app. When you go to do the process the interface is designed to discourage you from doing it. For example the button to cancel your unsubscribe is the default, and the one to submit it is colored to look like a cancel button. During the unsubscribe process they try to pitch you a discount on continuing service. As if all this is not bad enough they then make you type confirm twice uppercase letters.

I don’t care how good the app and the services are, being treated like this has made me never want to be their customer again.

  • Barry & Marlene

Touchnote is an excellent way of sending friends & love ones cards and cheaper in most cases than a stamp great app top marks touchnote
  • Poor customer service and rolling contracts

Just a pre-warning to anyone else thinking about signing up to a free trial. £98 later for two post cards and they will not even consider a refund despite my clear history of not using the app or ordering cards. They automatically set you on to auto renewal yearly. The first charge I accept as it was a year ago and I missed cancelling the free trial but as soon as I became aware of a second year charge I challenged it. I even offered to pay November’s fee and receive 11months of a refund. I was met with an offer for next years cost to be reduced to £23. Rather than offer any money back they tried to sell me more products. I am stuck with it for a year now and don’t get me wrong if used properly the service could offer good value for money. However, I think the customer service leaves a lot to be desired and that they need to be more transparent on their auto renewal policy.

Sorry to hear about this. I can only imagine you did not manage to opt-out before your membership renewed. Rest assured, we always try to be as transparent as possible about this and also send an email reminder 30 days before the renewal takes place.
  • A much more meaningful way to keep in touch

TouchNote is great for sending a card to family and friends that’s a little bit different but certainly more personal. It’s also great fun deciding what photo(s) to include.
  • Wonderful card app

I was introduced to Touchnote over 10 years ago and thought it was the most brilliant app for sending postcards when overseas. You don’t need to find a shop selling the cards; you don’t have to find a place to buy stamps and you don’t have to locate a postbox. You also don’t have to rely on the local postal service!
As long as you have access to wi-fi, you can send a card to anywhere in the world. The recipient will get an actual card in their letterbox!
It gets 5 stars from me!
