  • It’s Awesome!

If you hate the thought of writing out a card, putting a physical stamp on it, and taking it to post office….This App is for you!

I take a quick photo of my friends when I’m out with them, then upload that photo onto the post card in the app, then add a nice custom thank you note, and TouchNote does the rest! They print, post, and mail it for me! It’s such a personal way to send thank you cards with the personal touch…custom photos of your friends you’ve taken yourself as a memento of a fun evening. When they receive it, they have a custom photo of the evening to place in a frame, or, on their fridge!

You can get very creative with the app, I once took a photo of myself eating a slice of specialty bread that someone gifted to me. They enjoyed getting a thank you postcard, with a photo on the front of me enjoying their gift!

Sometimes I just take a photo of a gift that someone has sent me and put that on the front of the thank you card so they know I received it and enjoy it. The app is also great for business as the resulting postcards are professionally printed and great card stock and great quality.

I highly recommend this app as customer service is exceptional as well. I once emailed them on a Saturday afternoon a question about my account, and they got back to me within the hour. Great app overall!

  • Wish you were here!

I love sending cards and notes, but…even though I love it, it rarely gets done, except for the obligatory reasons. With TouchNote I can send a quick postcard in minutes after a recent visit with friends or family. I can capture a moment and in the moment capture my thought to send along. Most important, the friends and family I send to are always pleasantly surprised and so appreciative of the thoughtfulness. An d rather than send a digital photo or text (like everyone else), they always comment on what they got from us in the mail from us. The postcards become a keepsake.

This is such a cool app and well done idea. The reason camera phones are so popular is because they are always handy. The same is true with TouchNote. Don’t leave home without it and for the cost? The memories and thoughtfulness are priceless.

P.S. I sent myself a card to check the quality. I promptly purchased another pack!

  • Good product let down by atrocious customer experience

I really enjoyed using this app at first and bought a subscription. I then forgot about it - of course. Suddenly remembered and went to cancel my membership. I found it had renewed automatically with no reminder (bad, bad practice TouchNote!) but also had charged me nearly double my subscription: the best part of £50! Then the fun started - oh my goodness. You can’t cancel your membership on the app. Why not?? So then you have to encounter the website of doom. Where to start. I bought my subscription on Apple Pay (top tip - don’t) and couldn’t log on. Even when the account was unlinked after a long text chat with customer service I got blank pages, unrecognised passwords, you name it. All to cancel a subscription which I didn’t want. Took me 35 minutes with customer service to sort out. What a shambles. In short - great to send a few postcards, but avoid subscriptions like the plague unless you want TouchNote to rip you off and make it as difficult as possible to do anything about it…

  • Great! And one not-so-great issue

First, I want to point out that I am not on a subscription. Rather, I purchased a pack of 20 postcards, which I’ve used the past 3 years to send cards to my kids at overnight camp. I absolutely love the concept. However, in reviewing old orders, it looks as though 50% of the cards I’ve sent have the text cut off. The app itself limits the number of characters. But it seems that, when you’ve neared the max allowed # of characters, the actual message sent on the card is cut off! It might be a flaw with the way old orders display on the app. I’ll have to search thru my kids’ stuff to see if they still have the cards themselves and if the messages are complete or cut off, as they appear to be in the orders tab of the app.

  • Blank cards, no resolution from customer service

I sent a few of these to grandparents to keep them updated about their grandkids. At first it seemed great. Then one batch went out and everyone told me their postcard arrived with an address on it but the cards were otherwise completely blank. I checked my order and I *definitely* loaded photos and text to the cards. I contacted customer service twice. The info on the app says it can take a day or two for them to respond. It’s been several weeks and NO response. None. I outlined how I’d like the problem to be resolved with a resend and account credit and this has also not happened on my account. They took my money and sent blank paper [I didn’t pay for blank paper], then never resolved the issue. I hate leaving bad reviews. But I gave the opportunity to resolve this directly and the developer did not care for that opportunity so here we are. Customer service needs a tune up.

  • Unreliable

I would give this app 0 stars if I could. It’s a great idea but you can’t trust that your cards will be delivered on time or at all. I tried sending a birthday card but when it didn’t arrive I reached out only to find that they had some mishap with group of orders and it wasn’t sent. They were apologetic and eventually resent the card and it did arrive but it was quite late. So I gave them another chance. I created 2 cards for Mother’s Day and given the trouble I experienced, I made them early. There was an option to pick a date to post them and I fell for it. According to the app they should have arrived a few days before Mother’s Day. But they never arrived at all. And when I checked the order status, there they sat as if I only created them but never posted them. I’ve asked for my money back but they say by signing up I agreed that it was non refundable. I told them I never agreed to substandard service. Who would sign on to pay for belated cards? So if you want an unreliable service that will let you down, this is the one.

  • These times

For me having the ability to send a photo/postcards to my sick mother across the world- has been a godsend. Covid has me meant I can’t visit her but TouchNote has kept us in contact. X
  • Not worth it. Won’t renew

Ordered a valentines card on January 27 (send to Canada). It arrived MARCH 12. ordered a post card on March 7 (nearly a month ago) and it has yet to even be posted???? Other cards I’ve ordered have taken substantially longer than any other letter mail I’ve had sent. The concept is good. The printing is probably 4 star (card was very off center). The actual execution of idea is 1 star ... maybe. Totally not worth it.

  • Lies

Not much of a review writer but I don’t appreciate being lied too. I sent out 2 post cards on the 15th. According to the app they post your cards within and hour. My cards did show as posted after 2 days. So I decided to make an inquiry. When I reached out to customer services on the 17th they told me my cards had already been posted and it must have been a glitch and to try log in and log out but still the app was not showing them as posted. The following day I see an email saying my cards had just been posted on the 18th. So I reached out to customer service to inquire when was the actual date my cards had been posted, the app was now saying they had been posted on the 15th, my email that I received said the had been posted on the 18th and the customer service representative said that they had been posted on the 17th. It feels as if they only posted out my cards on the 18th after I had inquired with them why my cards had not been posted yet or had not been showing they had been posted. If it was a simple mistake and they hadn’t posted my cards they could have said that but lying about the situation is aggravating and not how a company should conduct business. I needed those cards to be delivered by the end of the week. If I had known they were this unreliable I would have just gone to usps and posted them myself they say I needed them sent out.

  • Untimely and incorrect printing

The whole point of creating your own card is adding that special touch, that’s the name “TouchNote“ I’m assuming.
I’ve sent approximately four cards since they somehow do not allow you to remove auto debit/auto charge from your credit card as you have to find a laptop/PC computer to turn off auto renew (how convenient for them!) since I was charged, I tried sending various cards for the month of January and February. A regular card in an envelope counts as two cards so it’s designed more for postcards.
I was very embarrassed after designing a card when it was sent approximately 10 days late and addressed to someone I never heard of. I’ve reached out to the company and will update this review but the bottom line is that if you want a real personal touch, get a printer and print it yourself. Plus it’s sort of creepy for a company to have a copy of all the cards you sent along with your personal messages.
