Reviews of EDGE touch (pixel art tool)

Only app I use.

This is the only app I use for my pixel art. I’ve been using it for years. I’ve tried several other apps, but they were either too complicated or far too basic. Edge Touch is just right. It’s super easy to use with a friendly and easy to learn UI. It’s a shame more people don’t know about it.

Clean, straightforward and full-featured pixel art tool for iPhone

It's the only pixel art / animation tool without bad UI or "deal-breaker" feature omissions that I've found after trying many— UI is clean and the basics are covered elegantly! Four features that would elevate this to a 5 star app in my opinion: 1. ability to hide the color palette bar while drawing, 2. A floating or docked mini preview panel that could be quickly toggled on/off while working zoomed-in, 3. A gradient tool with different dither algorithms and 4. Ability to save and load from iOS files rather than the old iTunes method. Even so, it's my go-to now. Would be great to have an iPad version with pencil support 😉🤞

Amazing on every level

This app is the best pixel art app on the AppStore. It has many useful features like making circles, animation, layer options, straight line, creating custom color palettes, and many more. It integrates the touch screen really well also. Being able to select a color by just holding on it is a huge convenience. There are also many options to change, like changing many tools are to be displayed and creating a custom grid. I only have a few problems. First, they need to add an option to create folders to sort your art, and second, it would be nice to be able to make larger images (However 320x480 is more than enough for most things). This app is definitely worth the $3. Overall, it a great pixel art app for people who have been doing pixel art for a while, or for beginners.
