  • Excellent and affordable, highly recommend.

If you are learning Blackjack this app is a hell of a lot cheaper than placing $5.00 bets at a casino trying to learn.
I started with the lite version and quickly upgraded to the pro app for the customizable hands.
I like that it doesn’t reveal the dealers hand. That is not the point of this app. The point is to teach you the best strategy.

  • I paid money for this

I upgraded to pro thinking I could eliminate the pop ups and enjoy this app.
As soon as I paid for the upgrade I started getting pop ups to write a review.
Can’t I just play the game

    Developer Response

Hi, sorry you were bombarded with pop-ups. The requests for a review should be limited to 3 times, if it was more than that then please let me know (on the help screen there's a link to email the developer). BTW, those popups initially ask for just a star rating, and you can stop with that. Writing a review is optional. Unfortunately I need to bug users for ratings/reviews, even with the Pro version (especially w/the Pro version!) because the only way we can get more users and downloads is if we get lots of people to leave a rating or review.
  • Awesome Strategy Practice App

The new update improved its appearance. The only thing missing is to have the dealer finish playing its hand to see if you won or loss.

    5 star app without question.

Hi, thanks for the review! Glad you like the app. I just wanted to mention the reason why I don't have the dealer play out its hand to see if you won: I don't want the results of individual hands to color the player's feeling about the strategy. If the strategy tells you to stand and the dealer hits 21 a couple times you might start feeling like it's not a good play to stand, but really you shouldn't be worrying about the outcome of one or two hands, but instead focus on memorizing correct play.
  • Force close

Paid .99 for an app that force closes and never once got it to open. Useless.
  • Perfect basic strategy trainer

This app and the free version are awesome. The free version has all the features of this one except for small banner ads at the top. I went ahead and bought this one because the app is so good I wanted to support the creator! Anybody that wants to play blackjack with the best odds, get this and drill your basic strategy. Thank you for an awesome app!

  • A must have for any black jack movie or pro

I must say, this is so worth the 99 cents. Maybe more! I love how you cN practice with only pairs, softs And hard plays... I'm having trouble learning the soft and pair hits and this has made it simple! Love it!!!!!
  • The best app for learning basic strategy

Be advised that this is not a play-for-fun casino game version of blackjack. This is a training tool to teach basic strategy. The dealer doesn't finish the hand--you make your decision, it's right or wrong, and you move to the next hand instantly.

You can practice strategy for different numbers of decks and common rule variations such as dealer hitting on soft 17, surrender, etc. You can work on hard hands, soft, or pairs, or all of them at 3 skill levels. There's a strategy chart showing the right play for every hand.

There is a free version of this app that disables ads, but for $0.99 it is well worth rewarding the author considering how much you will save in the casino by knowing basic strat perfectly.

I'd love to see an update or add-on to help practice counts for various systems, like K-O or Hi-Lo.

  • Needs more

Game is ok. It needs to tell you why to make the move other than just telling you your decision is right or wrong. Needs much more instruction. Don't waste your money if your trying to learn BJ. There has to be better out there.
  • Don't let the appearance fool you

This is a great app for learning the basic strategy of blackjack. It let's you play through a hand, rather than just stop at the initial draw. As far as I know this is unique among blackjack trainers. Worth the money.
  • Absolute waste of money

This is a complete waste of $0.99. It is the worse app I ever downloaded. Don't waste your time or money.
