  • Stand up for Democracy, CNN!

Don’t give up on democracy please CNN! You started out so informative and insightful in your Jan 6th committee coverage. The analysis was impressive. You even had a time slot devoted to democracy. That disappeared and now you just seem to be trying to prop up the Republican Party. They created the mess they are in, and you are trying to rescue them while they continue to try to suppress voting rights. This is how democracy dies. Thanks CNN. Moving on to the topic of national security — your clip of Anderson Cooper’s interview with Maggie Haberman left out some of the the most astounding information she provided. The fact that the former guy routinely tried to take top secret documents up to the private residence in the WH and bristled when Kelly (his first chief of staff) tried to stop him. I wonder how successful his next 3 chiefs of staff were at this task or if they even tried to stop him. I gave you 3 stars for the fact that, on occasion, you do point out Republican politician lies. So many lies. The country of George “I cannot tell a lie” Washington and Honest Abe has become a country where lying is big business, and the go-to strategy for getting Republicans elected whether they are Trump candidates or not.

  • My Favorite

I love news. My current reading of the “The Mueller Report” it noted that the Republicans decided on their own “news” network-Fox News was born. For the record, as an Independent I do vote for Republicans. That being said, Fox is not “fair and balanced”. For example I believe CNN, ABC & CBS all televised the 1st 1/6 committee-except Fox. There are other examples e.g. Carlson and company that simply lie. CNN is not without fault but for Americans who think and read (<1% my bias) can research if it the opinion or statement is legitimate. Fox, to me is Right-Wing Republican propaganda. Again they are decent Republicans who, despite a different ideology than Democrats, want the best for this country. I don’t think Fox presents these Republicans. Although CNN has a liberal leaning it’s basically tries to be accurate.

  • Unbiased reporting

CNN tells the whole story and mainly the story. All sides good or bad. Positive or negative for both major political parties and administrations. All sides of a story. Far right news channels spin in one direction and if that is all you watch you will be given a very skewed view of their far right reality. I watch all the major news channels and listen to XM radio in the car. It is amazing that fox on XM channel 115 “FOX headline News” is actually news but “FOX NEWS” on channel 114 is mostly opinion offered in a format to entertain and persuade right wing viewers. The opinions offered on XM FOX 114 are in one direction only.
CNN is a NEWS channel that does interview people involved in the story and when opinions are given most of the time both sides of an opinion are explored.
I have learned through my experience of 75 years that when someone has to begin a view by “constantly telling you their view is telling you the truth” you should take that view with a grain of salt and widen your news viewing to make an informed decision for yourself.

  • Dangerous militia within the USA.

Love CNN’s unbiased reporting Foreign and Domestic. Truly believe CNN has the cream of the crop in Journalists. I would love to see more investigative journalism done to expose home grown terrorism that I truly believe has been given a platform to build from while D Trump was in office. Clearly he has become a voice for white nationalism and was able to mute the DOJ response to this crisis. Sadly that mute button is still effective today given the sentencing of the insurrectionists. He has compromised the rule of law by appointing these judges that serve specific needs not related to the Law as it is written. That is part of various cell groups operating out in the open in the USA under different names , but are really homegrown terrorist groups / militia. Keep up the exceptional reporting.

  • I'm so happy! My review has changed as of today.

Initially, when I wrote my first two review, I had just gotten the CNN app and started using it right away, and I was certainly not happy with the streaming platform. But today, that has all changed! I contacted support right when I got home and was connected with Elizabeth, a wonderful tech to nip my problems in the bud once. And for all. After all was said and done, she got me in touch with a Daniel, a CNN Specialized Support team member for father assistance. He was an absolute miracle worker! ...As so as everything got squared away and fixed, I watched Wolf Blitzer: The Newscast.
Oh! And PLEASE 🙏 put Roadrunner: A film About Anthony Bourdain on the streaming service!! I'd watch that every week!

Thank you. Sincerely, a loyal CNN viewer for life ❤️

  • News Hound

Since I was 12 years old, I always enjoyed staying informed and current. CNN has been my primary source of news this past year. I enjoy listening to the experts give their view of the various matters that present themselves each day. Thank you for giving us the minute to minute, blow by blow accounts of the nation and world events as they unfold. This past year of 2020 has been a tumultuous year politically, economically, and racially, including the worse pandemic in my lifetime. Thus, I have depended on CNN to keep me current on the topics at hand. I rely on the dogged reporting of the FACTS as they unfold in real time. Since this year has started off with the literal storming of the Capitol, it is apparent that we are in for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. So I plan to hang on tight and once again look to CNN for up to date occurrences.

  • CNN wants me to review their mobile app..,

Sure - but first have your web site managers and technicians set up a long long overdue feature that allows readers and viewers to message department heads, authors, TV segment directors, and most importantly CNN reporters AND ANCHORS by simply clicking on a button. Just a click to access a feedback channel WOUKD BE INVALUABLE.

CNN has lots of fans like me who would like to provide feedback in order to MAKE CNN BETTER! There have been many times in the past that I’ve wanted to compliment, encourage, or critique something I’ve read or seen on CNN - but have been unable to do so. Please stop making your organization so difficult to contact. Instead focus on becoming accessible and transparent.

Also, you might consider adding a feature similar to the NYT Digital Edition Comments Section. It’s a wonderful add on to an already great publication. Having something similar would enhance CNN overall and allow the company, as well as other viewers, to place their fingers on the pulse of the readership and the nation.
