Problems need attention
One of them I would say is the wait time on hold for customer service is too long. I don’t understand how it should be getting longer over the years. It seems longer than I waited when when I first joined Vanguard.
Another point I’d like to make is the feature you have on your website that shows outside accounts updated automatically is not actually working and hasn’t been for me for quite some time. I have added long ago my federal government Thrift Savings Plan, which actually was updated for a time via Yodlee. Yodlee was cumbersome but actually it did update the Thrift Savings Plan account. Now instead, it’s not updating it regularly at all and I would have to go in and update it manually. However as of today, I cannot update anything since noticed edit and refresh features have disappeared.
Lastly, the algorithm that used to update the outside accounts has an error in it because now includes older TSP balances, not only the balance as of today. That’s a big mistake.
I have reported all these things to Vanguard today to a very kind young man whose name I wrote down and I will add tomorrow to these things would be correct, but I’ve yet to hear what’s going on. Thank you for your consideration.
