  • Bummed!

I love this app. It helps me track just about everything cycle-related, and even for a lite version, it can be semi-customized. It does have intrusive ads ALL THE TIME, but they’re easy to close and what free app doesn’t have ads nowadays? However, the latest update requires you to sign in with Apple ID and mine said it was already connected to another account. It’s not, so I followed the “other options” instructions and it erased my data and made me start from scratch! So not cool. I’ve been using this app for such a long time, that it’s not even worth it fo start over. So, deleting this app and going back to my trustworthy paper calendar/pen tracking.

  • Can’t use since update

Now that you have to sign in via an Apple ID I can no longer use it as it only offers an old email address which is no longer my Apple ID with no option to update it. When I go to the support date it suggests giving feedback under Settings, in the app that I can no longer access! I have used this app for several years and have years of data I can no longer access.

  • App has redeemed itself

I went into major freakout today. I had been using the free version for 8 years. I got so tired of the insane amount of ads so I purchased the IP+ version for $1.99. When I signed in to that version all 8 years of data was gone.

I went back to the iPeriod lite and found that the data there was gone too.

    Eight years!

I sent an email explaining the situation and asked how do I get the data back. I thought I was screwed because it wasn’t apparent to me if and where my data was being backed up. I deleted the app and started researching other trackers, not expecting anyone to reply to my support message.

To my PLEASANT SURPRISE, support responded within one hour stating that they fixed the problem. And yes the problem was fixed. All my data was back. This was the first time I used support.

I give very detailed notes per cycle and incredibly happy that all those years are back in the palm of my hands.

Thank you iPeriod for wonderful customer service and a quick resolution.

P.S. The $1.99 for IP+ is worth it. No more incessant apps messing with a seamless experience.

  • Tracker not working

I have had this app for years. Have loved it, but lately the ads have gotten silly by how many there are and now today the app isn’t working. Won’t even open. I tried turning my device off and back on and tried to delete app and re install it. Still not working. And it’s not my phone because all other apps are working. I can understand it not working maybe due to something going wrong but there is no customer support either. Maybe the customer service(an email and phone number or something) is in the app but seeing as I can’t open it here I am. So hopefully this review gets someone’s attention and they fix it.

  • Not bad for tracking periods and symptoms

The app is great for tracking periods and symptoms. I can always see when my last period was. There are a lot of ads, but that’s because I don’t pay for premium. I have only two complaints. First, the app tells me I’m late each month even though my periods are consistently 28 days apart. Why does it think my cycle is 25? Second, there’s no app support. Their support a list of questions and answers. So, if you’re problem isn’t listed, there’s nothing you can do, which is why I’m writing this review.

  • Super happy with iperiod

I have been using this app for years. It has assisted me the the correct timing falling pregnant with both of my boys and has been spot on to the exact day of my period, which has been super helpful forward planning for holidays. I highly recommend this app to all.
  • Used to be good but went downhill

I used to LOVE this app. I’ve been using it since 2011 and haven’t had an issue until the latest update, but something happened that took the interface way downhill. Don’t know why the developers would have made this choice but all the sudden it got super ugly. They added a bunch of unnneccessary graphics and fonts so it feels really cluttered. It’s actually hard to find what I need now. Since it has 9 years of data on it, I’ve been reluctant to change apps, but this latest change has me considering manually plugging all that data into another app. Unless they fix this soon, I’ll be converting to the apple heal app.

  • Stop the annoying ads you can’t click out of

The free version is great for my needs *when* I can get past the annoying ads that sometimes won’t go away. These pop up when you first open the app. Usually there is a 5 second wait time until you can close them, and or a small “x” to close them out. Sometimes, though, they don’t go away no matter what, like the irritating Facebook ad that keeps coming up. It will not close, and I can’t get to my calendar. For someone like me who just relies on this to track my periods, it’s frustrating, but I imagine it’s a terrible thing for women needing to use this app for fertility, health issues, etc. Pass on this one!

  • Good app, becoming unusable because of ads

I have used this app for years and whilst the UI design could do with some love, its very functional.

However recently the adverts in the free version have become so buggy it makes it hard to use. They can’t be closed and I have to restart the app and hope the next advert closes down. Please fix these issues. New users will find this prohibitive and not be encourage to buy full app.

  • Great app for tracking my period

I use this great app every month to track my period. The app makes it easy to enter how many days it was, when it started and what symptoms I had. Helps a lot when you go to see your gynaecologist- you can easily say when your next period is due, it’s duration and how your symptoms changed over time
