  • Must Download for Macy’s Shoppers!

    I’ve been shopping at Macy's for years if not decades, and only recently discovered their app, but thank god I did because honestly it’s a complete game-changer! I was relieved by how seamlessly the app included their star rewards program, it’s so much easier to track my points and see my progress towards the next tier, rather than having to just guess or sometimes even bother the employees in store. I can also manage my Macy’s card payments directly from the app which is really convenient. I especially recommend the wallet feature—it organizes all my offers for me and automatically applies the best one at checkout instead of their emails going straight to my spam folder (which I always forget to check). Shopping on this app genuinely feels like a VIP experience, and it’s lovely to finally feel more taken care of by a company I’ve been loyal to for so long. I’ve been trying to get my daughter, who loves Macy’s even more than me, to download it too because I know she wouldn’t want to miss out on all the benefits!

  • Macy is the best!

    Macy is my go to store! I am 76 years old and I have loved Macy’s since I first stepped into the store ! My first experience was in cherry hill mall in New Jersey where I was born! My mother had impeccable taste and dressed her kids out of department stores that put items on sale. She even had a secret! Hit the basement first ! She took a job at a department store and from then on her five kids were dressed to kill! My father was a trained Taylor and his mother was a top notch seamstress. Being born into a family with skills and taste was a Blessing! My oldest sister made a dress in sewing class at our high school and won a contest for making the best dress! She was invited to New York to show it off! First and foremost when we needed something special for a certain occasion we hit macy . Thanks macy for hiring great Buyers and sales person with taste! As a grandmother I check macy sales first and have always been happy with my shopping results ! Thanks macy !

  • Amazing app

    The Macy's app has genuinely upgraded my shopping experience. As a fashion enthusiast, the Style Inspo quiz is a highlight. I love how it offers tailored daily fashion recommendations right to my feed—like having a personal stylist. What I also love is how it saves me time with the Wallet feature where all my offers are stored and automatically applied at checkout. This way I always get the best deal without having to go through the trouble of manually checking if I have any offers that can apply. Plus, managing my Star Rewards through the app is so straightforward; it keeps track of my points and purchases. Whether I’m browsing for the latest trends or need something specific, the Macy's app makes it both fun and efficient. I reallt believe they’ve thought of everything to make shopping as enjoyable as possible.

  • Very disappointed

    I always buy at Macys brand and quality are not in discussion but card system is a mess … I have spoken lately with 2 agents to correct my balance or rewards as they say. Let me tell my story … I bought some items I did many purchases however I returned 4 items for different orders without using any rewards or star money.. by the time I went to store I was told I will get money back as a reward , I wait a few days nothing happens then I called for 1st time, I even spoke with a manager and he told me, he will call me back to follow up, still waiting that “manager” … then I called again and I checked the items I returned and I didn’t use not point so when I called I told the agent very sweet Monica and she tried her best to help me she said everything will be there after 48 hours but I am checking now and nothing… the money supposedly has to go back to my credit card not to my rewards because I didn’t buy my items with rewards but if I wanted that I have to wait 2 weeks and they will send a gift card… can you believe? They want to give you money back as gift card as you can buy again.. I love shopping but that’s not the way … so BE CAREFULL how you pay and how they want to give your money back.

  • Shopping at Macy in Belair

    I had a great time and everyone was so very helpful. Some examples;perfume need perfumes for myself and a gift for hubby. She showed me quite a few perfumes for me. I went out with a few es. To involve my husband in my choice(also wanted to ensure he likes it also he love the one I picked. Then I went to houseware and picked up some beautiful festiva dishes the sales person was great pointing out great sales on many things. Ended up with polo towels in deep red. 40 percent
    Off. Bought several beautiful top also 40 percent off. I am unable to stand up very long due to back surgery. I had 2 big bags heavy. (Sagged them on floor) a check out sales person called out to me “can I help you with your packages?I said yes an she walked me to my can. Turns out she had done it once before for me. My only complaint is no shopping carts or few places. They would get more seniors shopping if they did. 4 stars for Macy. Will be back this week as sale is great. TyFor reading.

  • Longtime Macy’s shopper

    I been shopping with Macy’s on and off for 20+ years. The problem is that I recently downloaded the app since some of my local stores closed and is difficult to get to. Anyways, I found a few different things to purchase (some curtains and a little table). I put them into the basket and proceed to check out. I have a gift card that I received to cover most of the balance and it gives ZERO options to put the card in. Even tried following the instructions through the FAQs and still nothing. I tried using my card without the gift card and it says that the items are not available or sold out and to remove the items. I do and come back a few hours later and even days later and they are still available. So I try again and gives me the exact same message as before. This has been going on for the last week or two. Even tried chatting with agent on the app and two on the phone. They even don’t know. I don’t know what is happening with them the last few weeks.

    If any items are completely sold out or temporary sold out then the site should say that and should be given an option if the said item(s) will ever come back as available so the person doesn’t have to waste their time. Also add an area to redeem gift cards so that people can actually use them. At this point I am tempted to sell the gift card and go elsewhere to buy the items.

  • Long-time customer - take screenshots.

    Macy’s has been one-and-only go-to for online department store purchases for many years. Until now. I recently spent 3-4 HOURS shopping on the app. I purchased regular price items as well as sale and clearance items. After confirmation, 15 to 20 of my items just disappeared from my order without any notification to me or communication from Macy’s. NOTHING. There is actually no evidence at all now of more than half my order in the app or by email; It’s like it never existed. Thankfully, I had taken screenshots of my order and confirmation as well as payment. After calling customer service, it was determined that many of the items must have no longer been available (even though they showed in stock on the app). I don’t typically spend hours shopping online, but this turned out to be a HUGE waste of my time and the fact that Macy’s just deleted everything like it never existed and then just didn’t communicate anything about it is totally unacceptable. This is terrible customer service and terrible, terrible communication. This very loyal customer just lost all confidence in online shopping with Macy’s.

  • So bad I closed my account

    For several months I’ve been trying to make a payment to my Macys/AMEX card and every time I do a little thing pops up saying attention no payment needed because you have a zero balance but on the app it says that I owed $80 and after a few months it was like you owe $160. Still, I was not able to make a payment through the app because it said I had a zero balance.
    So unsure if I had a balance or not, I finally called was on hold for quite a while they apologized took the interest charges off. I paid $80 balance and then a week later just checking out to make sure everything was clear because I close my account I said I had a two dollar balance. Try to pay the stupid two dollars so that I don’t have to deal with customer service again. The thing popped up attention. You cannot make a payment when you have a zero balance. Had to call customer service again just now they took care of the two dollars and they said I have a zero balance. I guess I’ll wait in a week to see what it says next.

  • More Prod Testing needed

    I use this app everyday, for years, and I work in technology. After releases you need more people doing Production testing to confirm functionality- especially regression testing. Old things that were fixed are breaking again. For instance, when going through search results, clicking in a result then going back to the full results, the app gets slower and slower and grainier in movement, then shuts down completely. So frustrating! It was fixed for about 3 months, then broke again about a month or so ago. Another issue is the app having so much trouble adding new items to Favorites. Especially in the last 2 weeks I have been getting the “Oops something went wrong” message when I click the heart. Ao frustrating. I spent all that time hinting down new items, and now they are lost. A new issue that has been around for about 3 weeks is absolutely every item showing the “more colors” banner, but only having 1 color available. Please fix these things, add them to your regression testing plan and make sure full regression testing always completed in test and in prod. Thanks.
