  • Waste of time!

I understand this is a free app but its totally pointless. The FTP Server works ok but you cannot add any files to the sharing folder unless you upgrade!
  • Not compatible with wifi hd

This app cannot access file uploaded by wifi hd (another app by your company).

In addition, unable to set the FTP port is also a pain
  • Good but a bit Crippled

As an FTP server it seems to work reasonably well. You have to be on the same wLan for the connection to work - I have two connected to my router, and it did not work unless the server and client were using the same network. It does allow you to transfer files between (for example) a mac and the iPhone, which is very useful. However, it is limited in that it only transfers to/from one specific area of the iPhone. I wanted an application to make it simple to move photos from my iPhone to my Mac, and it does not do that as you have no access to the part of the iPhone file system where your photos are stored. With a broader capability in terms of addressing the iPhone file space (I don't know if it's even possible when adhering to the crippling rules of app dev), this would be a much better app.

  • Brilliant

    Works well with FileZilla 

Great app for backing documents up. Would be 5 stars but it crashes occasionally and you cant change the port. I prefer it to wifi hd because it's easier to transfer a large amount of files over FTP.

Also a great app for web developers.
  • Works fine!!

Dunno wot the dudes below were using but windows 7 using windows explorer asks for pass just check log on anonymously... Works a treat, can load music abs save but obviously doesn't go to iTunes lib but opens in QuickTime anyway so not too bad..
  • It works lush!

I saw the low score and review and thought I had to try this out.

I installed and turned on the FTP

I used filezilla on PC and connected as anonymous through port 2121 and guess what. It worked perfectly.

I decided to upload a website I'm working on and yep it worked

So as an FTP storage device = wicked

Please try this first and remember there are no usernames set as you just turn it on and off when you need it.

Only down side it the advertising at the bottom.

    Cheers.

  • Works Good

Transfered ~4GB of data over wifi, works as advertised.
  • Does not work

Title says it all...on switch stays off.
  • Crash Problem

This app is good but be careful I was using it and it crashed and restarted my whole ipod. Good app though.
  • Useful, however not practical.

It DOES as it says - its an FTP server.

    Pity that doesn't include uploading.
And the support link 404's (ie: page not found).

I know its free but it makes you wonder how they treat their paid customers.

@SavySoda - Nix this, make the paid free for 14 days or something because this one doesn't work fully as intended.
