This app immediately told me to rate the app and would not let me try it first........odddd!
Great approach to a tough problem
No systematic approach to learning Chinese was working for me. Too many characters. Too many radicals. Too many new sounds. Too many new words. Too many new idioms.
The brilliance of this app is that it works "inside out" one word at a time. For a given word, you learn its particular strokes, radicals, sounds, history, and related words and idioms all on one screen. That's not too scary. Then you move on to another screen, and learn about another word. And, maybe another day, another word.
Eventually, I revisited some other Chinese learning resources, and they aren't so intimidating any more because, in their large arrays of knowledge, I now recognize a few "friends" that I met in "I Learn Chinese Characters Lite".
There is a lot of material in the lite version. I still haven't finished it, but I bought the full version already, because I wanted to reward the developer for giving away such a useful lite version.

Great design, and free!
Have only used the lite one so far, but very happy with the app - great intro to chinese characters. Stable app and good features.

Great Introduction to Chinese Characters
I was reviewing this app for a friend who is taking a Chinese class this fall and wanted a boost before he starts. I found it very informative and simple. Makes the Chinese characters less intimidating.

It is the best app I could find to learn Chinese with and I enjoy the way the app explains the laungage so I could remember the characters with the letters.

Great application to learn Chinese
It is fun to learn Chinese by the original meaning. Super helpful to show the writing strokes. Hope the full version coming soon. It will good to add search function.
