  • 30-second adds have destroyed this game

A 5- or 10-second ad is ok once in a while but these 30-second ads which can't be turned off just plain STINK.
Don't even think about installing this game.
Earlier versions had insane partner but if you knew he was going to do the opposite of what he should do, the game was usable.
  • Great play, but lately

Game play is great, but recently whenever I finish a game and go back into the app, my only option is to resume my game. I have to wait for an ad to play to go back into the last hand of a game I already finished, then start a new game from there. Frustrating
  • Good but sometimes frustrating

Overall, compared to other apps, playing is enjoyable. It is frustrating when you call trump, your partner has two of the same cards in trump, and the card isn't passed. I find passing 2 vs 4 cards makes the game more enjoyable and one game will last longer.

Also irritating is your partner playing their ace when you lead an Ace; this removes the opportunity to take another trick.

  • Terrible ads and Weak AI Partner

User interface is great. Latest update requires two loud video ads before playing. Pinochle players aren't interested in mindless child games in these ads so why bother with them! AI Partner plays well below my level of play. Gives away Aces, etc.
  • Buggy - too many ads

I understand this is a free lite version but the ads are frequent but even worse hard to dismiss. The skip video button appears briefly then disappears for a few seconds comes back and you still have to find and press the X on the screen. I managed to cause it to hang in a way that can only be fixed by deleting the app. The 'other' free pinochle games is much better.

  • Real Pinochle

I've been playing pinochle for years and I'm not used to either team keeping their meld even if they didn't make the normal 20 points. That is a Golden Rule. Unless you make the difference between what you bid and your meld or you make at least 20 points, you don't keep your meld. So in all actuality, it's not about skill, it's about who gets the better hand. I'm deleting it after I post this. Adios...

  • Pinochle

My partner passes me the jack of diamonds when he has two queens of spade, even when he had 2 queens of spade, he passed me back 2 jacks of diamonds. Also, he will keep a 10 of an odd suit when he takes the bid, knowing it is the only card in that off suit, and that he will lose it to an ace.
  • Good game.

I have been playing pinochle for many years. Most of my experience is playing double deck, not single. I am enjoying the more simplistic experience of single deck. You can control the difficulty level and other factors. More emphasis is placed on strategy, since fewer cards are available.
  • Partner is a horrible player

    Kept his aces!
The partner I have played with is a horrible passer! The computer consistently passes poorly. The partner does not pass his aces and the last hand even kept not only the aces but also some trump! I called clubs as grump and the computer passed me two part of Pinochle. The computer kept the Jack to keep Jack around even though I needed the trump to make my rope. He also kept the queen for some unknown reason. The computer even

  • Update ruined game

This latest update ruined a great app. There is no way to change levels, it forces a resume every time which doesn't start a new game. Then restarting launches video ads. The video ads are awful. I don't mind ads in a free app but these can't be closed and are loud and happen every time you start a game. Also the play is different. The partner plays poorly, passes poorly, and makes inexperienced plays. Reset this to the previous version or I will be another who deletes this formerly good app.
