Why iOS 6??
I love this app it's incredibly useful as a teaching aid for my students. My excitement on seeing the update lasted all of 4 seconds when I realised that iOS 6 was needed. It's a shame, I know we need to move with the times n all that but iOS 6 is a horrible iOS and I don't want to upgrade!! Lost a star for that and it's still a brilliant app, well done Brian!!!

This is the be-all and end-all app which should be downloaded by EVERY single person who has ever played or simply appreciated Irish trad music. I cannot express how incredible this app is! If you use the preferences menu correctly for the tune you are seeking, it is virtually flawless! It has picked up and identified countless tunes for me no matter how ornamented or varied it was played! Now that you can sort the 'My Tunes' section, this app is priceless! 5 Stars without question!

Please update for iPhone 5/iOS 6.
Good but...
Great app! However, room for improvement. PLEASE add more sophisticated library functionality for tunes. Like the ability to create "playlists". Also, I want to tag tunes with genre or whatever other whim. Or be able to sort and group ad hocly by any parameter (style, key, jig/reel/etc). Thanks!!!

Glitchy
Ive enjoyed this app for some time but it is now buggy. I play a tune into it and after " listening" it closes out. Or I look at sheetmusic in landscape mode and scroll down to find the bottom half missing. Restarting the phone doesnt help.

I usually record sessions on my iPhone and then use the app later to go through the tunes and get the names and notes. This app has been the sole reason Ive been able to increase my repertoire so quickly.
Sometimes it takes a couple of shots to get the tune right but thats why it's best to record the tune at the session and then use the app later at home in a quiet environment.

Tunepal always comes through! I like how it links you to the sheet music as well.
