I’ve used it for years, I used to love it for the news and interesting information but sadly it’s not the same. Just like other social media sites it predicts what I should be reading, because I saved some recipes it seems all I can get now, bring back the old Flipboard, because I no longer like this version, plus it takes ages to upload anything and is full of ads.

Update: Can’t handle the banjo music - it’s too much

The banjo went away until yesterday when it returned, playing incessantly, even when flipping to other pages, stopping only when I closed the app, then starting again when it is opened. This leaves me worried about app security. Honestly I am done with buggy ads constantly blocking my view of pages and generally becoming intolerable. The developer has tried to fix it in the past but it returns after awhile. I have deleted the app and switched to Yahoo News and am happier.
Used and loved this app for years. Today it started playing annoying music on repeat and no clue what feed it’s coming from or how to stop it until I close the app completely. It wouldn’t stop when the page changed. When I reopened the app the music would begin again within a few minutes. So I deleted the app. Maybe it was mystery intrusive advertising or maybe I was hacked. The pop-up ads have become more numerous and intrusive recently making it harder, even sometimes impossible, to enjoy content. I will give it one more try and reload to see if anything changes. Update: the developer responded and the banjo music finally went away. Thank you. The crazy, numerous, repetitive, intrusive, glitchy pop up ads remain, however.

Hard to read now
Used to be so good, but now many of the pages have popups that block your reading and move around and are hard to cancel, almost a waste of time. Too many clickbait pages also.

Unfortunately, if the article you are reading opens into mobile web-view, we do not have control over pop-ups because you are no longer in the Flipboard environment.
