## What is 35Slate?

35Slate is an operational workspace for audiovisual productions, from script to set.

35Slate now includes a native English interface selectable directly in the app, alongside Italian. Choose Italiano or English from the Account menu: labels, instructions, and app-generated messages follow your choice; scripts, names, descriptions, and notes stay exactly as you entered them.

With 35Slate you can:
• manage cast, crew, departments, characters and locations;
• import and read the screenplay;
• prepare breakdowns, shot lists and work plans;
• create and send call sheets from the production server;
• review weather, schedules and daily requirements;
• document costumes, wardrobe changes, equipment and materials;
• use QR codes to move assets between storage, wardrobe and set;
• create production reports, prints and exports;
• work on the same project from iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Available data and actions depend on the role assigned within the production. Producer accounts manage projects and invite crew members with specific permissions.

A verified 35MM account is required. Each 35Slate plan includes the number of projects shown in the monthly subscription.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-15

This release introduces a native English interface you can select directly in the app from Account, alongside Italian, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Labels, instructions, statuses, call sheets, reports, and app-generated messages follow your choice, while scripts, names, and notes stay exactly as written. Fixed untranslated labels and count wording in Overview, Call sheets, Script supervision, and production screens. On iPhone, event labels in Overview no longer overlap. Camera, photo library, and Face ID permission explanations are now localized. Improved dates and accessibility.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-12

Photos can finally be added from iPhone.

• In wardrobe and equipment records the photo can be taken on the spot, without going through the library: on set you photograph the item while you are holding it.
• Fixed saving images from iPhone and iPad, which was failing.
• New Face ID lock: when 35Slate leaves the screen your projects stay closed until it recognises you. Turn it on in Account and privacy; it is off until you do.
• The work plan and the production reports are no longer tables you have to drag sideways: every shooting day is a card you can read in full.
• Fixed text breaking mid-word in storage places and item records.
• When "Save" is unavailable, the app now says why.

Interface fixes for iPhone and iPad.

• The Overview now fits the phone screen: the day header, scene titles and call sheet response counts are no longer cut off or broken mid-word.
• The sheets opened from the Overview — today's costume, the warehouse, the call sheet, the departments — no longer push the page sideways.
• The project list is now a grid of cards, showing the production type, its code and the stage of the shoot.
• The interface language can now be changed from iPhone too, in the Account menu: before it could only be reached on Mac.
• New loading animation at startup.
• Fixed the singular and plural wording in production capacity.
