The closest correlate here is 24.99 for 5 hours.And yet the phone calls are unlimited. I bought the pro upgrade thinking that it would let me use the machine in an unlimited way where its actually just a few organization and quality of life boost. I didnt read the fine print but the description and expectation of a pro version of the app is assumed to include some part of what the app is for. ### 2/5 — Family sharing of Pro version *2020-11-09, version 3.56* Family sharing of Pro version does not work. Subscription makes no sence. Except every time I order a transcription, they charge me a fee. I’m pretty sure I’m being taken for a ride here. Once I accidentally pushed the button for “human transcription and it cost thirty something dollars and it took a week. Heck, I could have done it in a week! That’s why I pay for it to be done for me. That brings me to the quality of transcription. It’s pretty nonsensical when I get my transcriptions. Then it’s pretty difficult to find the right way to download it and send it to my wireless printer. It almost does what it’s supposed to do for way more than I agreed to pay and here I am using it anyway. I hate it and for now it is all I have to use. It’s like using dial up. ### 2/5 — Not impressed *2020-01-11* I bought the pro version of the app and everytime I try to open it, I get a message that there is an error and try again later. I’d like my $ back. Update to the review, I was finally able to get into the app, however, I can’t sync to iCloud or use Face ID to help protect my files as I did with Smart Record. It’s so simple and very easy to use. My only complaint is, Apple Watch Complication is missing or not showing up for any of Watch faces. Please take a look at this issue. Would love to see that fixed. ### 1/5 — Not a reliable app *2019-10-11, version 3.56* I have a very important conference call this morning so I purchase this app last night. In the app description it says “unlimited recording of phone calls”, so I thought there should be no limit on the length of call. The call lasted for 4 hours and 19 mins but i later on found out the app only record the first 2 hours! So I lost 2 hours and 19 mins of recording. Also, in the setting I’ve set the quality to be 48000 HZ however the actual recording is only 8000 HZ, which is the lowest quality. I’m really frustrated and angry about this product. ### 4/5 — Probably the best, but a bug or two *2019-10-09, version 3.56* This is the best audio note taker/meeting recorder I've found among a surprisingly small number of such apps on the app store (at least among professional ones). It has great features, looks slick, and is easy to use. It's one downfall is that it occasionally stops recording in the background for unknown reasons - not great during a critical event. Sometimes just the time counter stops, and hitting "pause" updates to the correct timestamp, but other times its genuinely stopped recording. ### 1/5 — Almost perfect. But lacking one essential feature. *2019-09-30* In a market that is packed with feature-rich but poorly designed apps, this app stands out. It not only packs a punch with incredible features, it is also beautifully designed and a pleasure to use. My favorite feature is the note-taking functionality. The ability to make notes at various time-stamps (and even attach pictures) is something that truly sets this app apart. It’s what makes this app an excellent choice for journalists, song-writers, students, and more. I really love this app, and that is why it is incredibly sad for me to have to give it one star. Unfortunately, it lacks one feature that renders it essentially useless to me. That feature is the ability to automatically play a series of recordings. In the current design of the app, once playback of a recording stops it does not automatically begin playing the next recording. I was hoping to use this app for language learning, but without the ability to set a playlist from my language recordings and have it play continuously, I find myself not able to make use of the app. This is truly sad for me. To the developers, I want to say well-done on a fantastic app. I wish I could say it will work for me. If there is a way for you to add the ability to continuously play a series of recordings, I would be your number one fan and advocate. Run to another app *2020-04-23, version 3.56* I needed this for a class but it is expensive. Machine transcription was ineligible and human transcript cost almost $20.00 for 11 minutes. Plus charges are weekly and I can’t figure out how to cancel. Look elsewhere!! Total charges including fees for sign up, 10 days, and 1 human transcript was $40.87. I live in a retirement village and am part of a poetry corner with 5 members so far, with more wanting to join. We started to write poems with each member writing a stanza. But we want to record each stanza by the person that wrote it. I tested the app with breaks by pausing and there was a perfect continuation of the next recording as though it was not stopped or paused. We are recording because of the difficult time people have leaving their home, neighborhoods, getting rid of things etc moving into a retirement village. This is a grief they are going through. We hope we can help release some grief through our recordings and even interest others to join because people writing poetry can find it can help with grief and be healing with change. I also will use it to practice my Homilies/sermons because I always have to stop and write down the changes. I know I am rambling. But other apps want you to sign up and pay by the month or year etc. Or they just don’t work well. I think that is a deterrent to have others use the app. For me in time I am sure this app will not be free. I will delete the app if the monthly or annual fee is charged. I do not mind an up front SMALL charge to use the app but note small in caps. Any problems I have based on what is here now is to be expected but the quality is here now so it may be minor updates to improve the product. Please keep up the good work.
