  • iOS 11 Broke this app

This used to be a great app... lightweight and simple. Somehow iOS 11 has broken its ability to turn pages on the fly from portrait to landscape mode. Now it’s very annoying. Seeing as this app hasn’t been updated in 3 years I don’t have much hope that this will be fixed. Sadly I have to downgrade to 3 stars.

  • IOS 11 bug

Was my favourite app, until IOS 11. It won’t turn sideways anymore. Please update
  • Found a way to use .zip

Get a zip and rar extractor for comics that are zipped and this app works great!
  • Really good but not that perfect.

Well this app can read most of my CBR or CBZ without any problem but some of my CBR takes a 5-15 seconds to switch pages. But at least it's better then most CBR reader apps.
  • Very good. Lots of services and it's all free.

Only problem is that if you are in reader, and you press the pencil, it will show an ad for a note app, and there's no way to exit it.
  • Easy to use

It's great and I love it, no adds or payment stuff that I've run into. I do wish the navigation was easier. I have a hard time reading my comics and stuff on this, trying to zoom in and I end up going to the next page. Other than the interface, this app is really good.
  • Excellent

By far my favorite reader app. I originally found this to read pdf, cbz, and cbr files; and was pleasantly surprised to find it reads so much more! Love that it saves my place from the last time I read a file. Wish the bookshelf had an option to rename files to make finding a specific one easier.
  • Nearly perfect, but there are a few issues

CloudReaders is a more-than-capable reader for iOS devices. It's been my app of choice for a couple of years now... but there are a couple of significant (if infrequent) flaws I've found:

    1. The app sometimes prevents my iPad from powering off when I'm reading something. I have fallen asleep more than once only to wake up in the morning with the screen still on and my battery drained down.

    2. When reading a CBR or CBZ file that is misnamed, the app will not recognize the true format of the file and instead shows a blank screen. (The fix is simple. You just rename the file extension in iTunes.)

Those two issues aside, it is a great app which I would recommend.

  • Awesome

Fully compatible with iOS 9.0.2. The only annoying thing is it keeps fitting pages in landscape mode, which is pretty hard to read. Maybe developer can provide an option to fit page to width?
  • Excellent archive reader

I especially love it for picture archive files. The images aren't resized relative to each other, and it doesn't force images to fit into a single "page" like with another reader I use. Despite not having any updates for several iOS upgrades, it still works perfectly. Ads are small and unobtrusive. My go-to non-PDF reader app. (Not saying it can't read PDFs, just saying it handles non-PDFs the best of all the reader apps I've used.) There are problems reading nested archives, but that's an easy fix. Thanks, developer!
