When I first downloaded this app, it was amazing. Very accurate and reliable down to the day. But thank goodness I downloaded 2 other trackers because every time M. Cycles changes something or “upgrades”, it seems to erase my previous menstrual cycles. Today, I had to sign in. I haven’t had to sign into the app in ages. When I signed in, my entire menstrual cycle history was gone. It’s even asking me questions or giving directions as if I’m a first time user. Geez. The only pro is despite all the deleted data, it still is accurate of my expected menstrual or ovulation start dates. But the major con is if you don’t have a back up tracker and your doctor asks, when was your last cycle, you may go to the app and find your previous cycles are gone.Show lessCandy Coates

We are very sorry for the inconvenience brought to you. You can enter the program to find the settings page -> restore data, you don't need to fill in the account number and password, just click the "Restore from local data" button. After repair, all data can be recoveredRepeated data loss
The first time data loss occurred the app devs were able to provide a workaround with downloading data locally from device. It worked. This time the data from the last two months is just gone (after following similar steps of opening the app, skipping onboarding steps and going into the app settings to restore the data).
It’s hard to break the habit of years of use of the app but the time has come. These are the types of bugs that kill your product. I will have to use Apple’s native tracker from now on even tho their user experience is not that good.Show lesszpoint

I LOVE this app- the interface updates and everything remaining relevant and useful has been awesome. Since I love this app, I’ve been using it for a really long time. It’s seen a lot of use through the years of my life. It had the first time I lost my 🌸, every boyfriend I’ve ever had, and could accurately track and predict my cycle to the day. Recently, I was logged out of my account when an update went through- and I panicked because I couldn’t remember the email used. After trying everything I could remember, I got a hit! The email came through, I reset my password- and all was well again. I logged in eagerly with my new information, and when the screen loaded it was blank- no information at all, like a brand new login. I am SO SAD over this, I wish there would have been some kind of notice that all our information would be erased? on top of this I’m having quite the emotional response, but I have no idea where I am at in my cycle- so I can’t tell if I’m overreacting or not 😅 If there is anyway for me to recover my lost information I would gladly rate this app 5/5 😭😭

Not as good as it used to be
I’ve been using this for 12 years or more. I’ve not liked the change to the interface - was much better in the old version, but it still works well enough once you’ve figured out where everything is and what the data is showing… Now it suddenly decides to reset my account and I’ve lost it all and can’t restore it… not happyShow lessKrawhit
This app is unreliable!
I’m editing my review from 5 stars to 1 star.
Originally, I paid for the commercial-free version and have since lost my data for the second time. (I’ve been using this app for over 6yrs. I had no idea when to expect my period or when I would be ovulating. I contacted customer support and they said to simply “restore data” etc and after 10+ attempts it restored data from 2017 etc but I lost all my data from 2020-current. So I’m back to square 1. Finally, I excluded the 673 days without period and all the other error info. Now it’s close to being accurate with the averages, but I literally lost everything I documented since the birth of my most recent child. This is the most unreliable app I have ever used.

I use this app on a daily basis to keep track of any and all of my symptoms, and cycles. I have it on my iPhone & my iPad. The only thing is that I wish the 2 apps were synced with each other on both devices. Other than that, this app is perfect!!!Show lessM.Hill
Could be better
Really slow, the interface to simply just log your periods and symptoms has been over complicated for no reason. Design needs to go back to how it was.
Can’t seem to see historic data clearly! I’ve been using the app for more than 7-8 years and I can’t seem to see historic data much. The summary of the data isn’t easily available either to state what the average cycle is. Instead it’s realising on me to set the average myself, would be better if it figured that out based on the data entries I’ve been doing. Used for years, now it costs to get my data
I chose this app a good 7 years ago, and have tracked my cycle since. But now they have changed things and made it so if I want to look at anything more than a month earlier, it costs money. Their most recent update made me think I had lost all my data… but managed to find a button that allowed me to restore it.
It’s just frustrating as I signed up for this and have used it for so long…. So basically if I want my history, I have to shell out cash.
And for what it’s worth, I much preferred the original design and function of the app. I am a very tech savvy person, so it’s not that. The interface was just better back then.Show lessMountaingal1

Suddenly my data disappeared one day. Very shocked and disappointed. Don’t recommend this. The new updates make this very difficult to use.yyzik
Lost so much data
I paid for the life time membership and have been religious about logging my cycles for many years. In July 2022, I went to log my cycle and it said I was 377 days “late.” I’ve tried to restore my data as app creater/managers suggested, however, every time I type my ID/password etc. and push “done,” absolutely nothing happens. Thinking I am using a wrong password, I go to “forgot password” and same thing…I type my email, push “done” and nothing moves/happens. The app freezes. I’ve backed up my data for the most part, however, it’s not even saving what I do put in. When looking at “export my data” I noticed that it’s only a cycle roughly every 3-6 months out of each year that’s actually saved. What’s a life time membership of the member can’t even log/save one cycle?Show lessKrystape
