Look at how many one star reviews the new “upgrade” is getting. the old app was perfect and consistently got five star reviews, but I don’t think the new version has managed to get even a single two star review. Roll back to the old version and we will forgive you. Everyone makes mistakes.

Why? Older version was great but now.....it’s a quick delete
The old version, better known as the free version was 10 times better than the new one. Now the game takes on the appearance of a robotic world with buttons and selection tabs that take up valuable operating area. I tried playing the new version but it’s not worth the eye strain and certainly not paying for. Save your money for a time machine and play the old version.Show lessMr ed437
Worst possible redesign I have ever seen!
I played this game daily for the last few years - simple to operate, good enough graphics, great fun. Now just opened the 5.0 and what a disaster! It’s a simple board game so why can’t you keep it this way?! What does it need all the animation crap? Why is the map now a look down version instead of the screen is the map? Aweful
I used to enjoy playing this game casually against the computer. I had a variety of maps to choose from and it was great. I even had the paid version to get rid of ads. Now in a pure money they’ve essentially made the game a free-muim game by forcing you to pay “coins” to unlock new maps, otherwise you only have one. This game didn’t change for years and instead of releasing a new game they completely ruined the old one.Show lessPark314
New update is terrible
I played this game (THAT I PAID FOR) every other day for the couple years it’s been on my phone. It was a simple true to the board game rendition.
Then today I open it and it’s not the same game. They have absolutely ruined it.
Turned it into trash.
I hate everything about the new version.
From the added animations, to the new graphics, the size of the board. Everything.
It’s now like all the other garbage Risk generics that I played once and deleted.
Whomever was the brainchild of this update should be fired.
You took an app that resembled the board game and turned it into something annoying.

Why did you force this update on me?
I purchased the original Blood and Honor game. It was add free and had full functionality. This forced update to version 5 is not a welcome improvement. The entire interface has changed and is a lot smaller on my phone. I lost the ability to choose different theater maps. Now I have to purchase the ones I already could play on before. World domination map is now gone! Where is the setting that allows me to choose which countries I want to put my troops on instead of just a computer randomly spreading my armies across the world? This is a completely different game and not what I purchased! Please allow me to continue to play version 4. How can I download version 4 again? Greedy developers! I already paid you once and will not pay you again! This version five is a completely different game! I do not want it and I want my old version back!Show lessMasterMike72
Too slow
It takes too long for actions from the cards to occur. Also, the AI for computer managed forces is not as smart as I’ve seen in similar games. The cards have too much impact, especially nukes and air strikes, and should take more to earn them. Otherwise, a solid game.Snickerbean1
They Ruined It
I use to really enjoy this game. Unfortunately, they recently changed the defensive dice roll odds for ranked lightning matches, making it very unrealistic for taking territories. I’ve seen an army of 9 troops often lose to a troop of 2, failing to take the territory. This is a common occurrence, making it very frustrating to play, resulting in longer games. Please change it back Sandstorm. Or do you think you will sell more apps simply because players will be on your network longer? I don’t get it.Show lessThree1gee
Skill doesn’t matter
I have played 600 rounds of this game. I know it well. Fun to play! But there is a big downside. Your chance of winning depends on whether the roll of the dice works. Of course, right? It’s a dice game even in the physical world. The problem is that this game seems to use “weighted” probability. Some turns you seem to have super powers and instantly defeat all armies. Other turns you can waste 10 armies trying to defeat a 2 army opponent. Sometimes a country is randomly impossible to defeat. Yes it’s a form of random, but it does not run parallel to a simple random roll of the dice. There are so many random variables that after 600 games, my percentage of wins is 25%. Some rounds you can use skill, other times, your whole turn is a dud where your armies can’t beat anybody. All the layers of randomness were probably added for variety, but they end up overpowering skill. The result is that this game is more like a slot machine than a game of skill. It’s a slot machine with good music, and little battles, and is fun. But at the end of the day, as best I can tell, your chance of winning is basically random depending on a variety of randomized factors in the game (not to mention players who randomly quit and throw the dynamic out of balance as well.)Show lessSteubie
I joined recently and can’t catch any online game
I noticed that some of my friends are addicted to this game. And they explained to me. I like it especially after seeing them playing online vs people from all over the world. So I created an account recently using my Game Center on iPhone but I can’t join any online game !!! At all for days ! While my friends are playing online normally !! As if the game decided to make it only for old players and forbidden for new comers !! Please explain or Help !!Show lessADELUSA
