  • NOT for video despite description.

On the App Store this is listed as “photo and video” but it’s photo only. Great for color correcting photos, but sadly, that’s not why I bought it :(

    Developer Response

Thank you for the positive feedback regarding color correcting photos! We're sorry that you were disappointed regarding video, but the App Store does not provide a "Photo" only category, only a "Photo & Video" category.
  • Extremely Powerful Software!

This app does a great job, really easy to use and the software is SO much more powerful than what you might expect from an iPhone. That little camera will not disappoint you if you use it in conjunction with this app! It has really helped my low-light photos turn out after I thought they were a lost cause. Thanks FreshAir Software, keep the great apps coming!

  • No manual color correction

It would be nice to have manual color correction, especially for those photos that don't have white or gray present. With via primary or secondary adjustments.

Otherwise, a simple and easy program to use.
  • Where is the skin tone adjustment?

I love iCorrect as a PhotoShop plugin. So as soon as I head about it I bought and downloaded the iPhone version.

What you get, not surprisingly, is a subset of the features found in some of the more complete products. Especially missing is the ability to correct for skin tones, which I would imagine would be the primary subject for most iPhone photos. Instead, you need to find a neutral color in the image (not always present) in order to bring the other colors into alignment.

If a neutral color is not present in the image you have the option of using the Auto-fix, which is much like the automatic adjustment features in other programs: a kind of unguided missile. The sliders unfortunately do not include the ability to warm up or cool down the color temperature, something you might like to do in the absence of a neutral tone.

However, all in all this is one of the best photo correction apps (and I have a bunch of them). Its strength may be that it doesn't attempt to do too much, and what it does it does well. My only argument with it is not the number of features but rather the choice of features.
