Excellent, helps with listening to the word of God
  • On All the time

Back about 25 years ago my husband and I received the drama version of the Bible on CD’s, and we would lay in bed and listen to that each night, so when this came out on the computer I was thrilled. I work from home so having this running almost 24-7 I find it to be so calming. Now that I am a widow of about 2 years I have found this application of the Bible to really be my constant aide that the Holy Spirit uses to comfort me with the words of our Abba Father on the moments throughout the day that I feel so alone. The different videos etc. and the many versions of the Bible make it so enriching in my quiet time. I believe the many languages that are included hold the potential to be a invaluable aid when witnessing to the varied immigrants that have came to America that possibly do not have a body of believers that speak their language.
Thank you and God’s richest blessings,

  • Very grateful to have the word of God on tap

The narrated King James texts without the background music is awesome :)

I used to rate this site 5 star, being dyslexic I rely on it to be dependable, as it used to be.

I have given generously to it at times in the past and happy to donate here and there when I’m able, but withholding access to the Word of God by forcing people into monetisation and membership programs is merchandising, it’s why Jesus overturned the tables in the temple, and took a whip to the marketeers.

This simple service of making the Word of God available online to anyone shouldn’t be turned into a cash cow (golden calf) or a data collection service.

It started as a great idea and performed well with simple functions for many years.
I don’t want all the new bells and whistles, I’d just like to have access to the original, standard King James narrators that haven’t changed since I started listening.
But without the recent uncertainty of not knowing whether the same recordings will be available or if they will be restricted at whim by in-house processes.

    Thanks you
    Geoff
