  • Zero customer service

My app lost all progress in my “Read the Bible in a year” plan. I contacted them on June 19th. They stated they could restore it but said it could take a few days. After many, many conversations and asking for an ETA, they still do not have me caught up and stopped communicating with me. No updates on the status of my progress. Nothing.
I love the app. It has everything I’m looking for. Although it does drag and get extremely slow when doing a Bible reading plan. And their # of days is off. I was at around 389 of 500+ days. I try to stay ahead on my reading plan but I’m pretty sure there are only 365 days in a year.
I’m all about customer service and the companies that strive to under promise and over deliver. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has been to over promise and under deliver. I was told it could take a "few days". I should not have to still be waiting for their help and they should also respond to my questions. It’s disappointing, to say the least.

  • Randomly stops playing

You guys have some work to do to make it work more efficiently but the app looks promising.
  • Downloading

A big problem every time your iPad or phone updates the whole Bible needs to re downloaded and this takes all day. Why did the old version have to change never used to be so non user friendly. Love Gods word as can listen with earphones. Good when walking and going to bed. Have non believers in house and am praying for their salvation. I am disappointed with your new version. Sorry

  • Looks like a great app but feature request

This app looks so useful! It is a little buggy, and I hope those get ironed out.

Also it would be so helpful if there was a feature to pause for a specified amount of time between each passage in a playlist for reflection, and maybe a repeat feature for memorization like in the Dwell app.
  • A Wonderful App That Makes Bible Reading Fun!

This app is honestly so fabulous! I love the dramatic reading of the Bible because it makes the Bible so much more interesting to listen to and it makes it easier to read parts of the Bible that can sometimes get a bit monotonous — like when they’re listing out genealogies or when they’re talking about how many cubits is needed to build something.

I am so grateful for the app! The dramatic reading found here is unavailable on the “regular” Bible app that everybody has so that makes me like this app a bit more and I also like that it’s available in SO MANY different languages.

The only bad thing about it is that sometimes it can be a little glitchy (it can freeze sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t start reading the next chapter automatically like it’s supposed to) so I hope that they fix that.

  • Good māori version

Helpful for me to learn māori language by listening, which is a oral traditional language from God.
  • Excellent ministry tool

I have been using this app to share scripture with friends, for whom English is difficult. At first, I had trouble finding passages or even the language I was looking for, if it was labeled in the script of that language. I reached out to the developers and they adjusted it so you can search for a script using the Romanized alphabet. Now I can go to Kurdish Behdini for instance, and by understanding the order of the books in the New Testament, I can choose a chapter and play the audio file. Once I have played the file in my friend’s language, then we can go to the English and try to discuss it a little bit. If their language has online translation accessible, I can use that to aid the discussion.

  • Best Bible App Ever! I Highly Recommend This App!

I love the fact that I am able to listen to Audio bible & with sound effects helps to bring the scriptures alive. This bible app has plans curated for weeks & months. I’ve fallen in love with this app. I also love the fact that this app helps me watch their own short movies based on every chapter & verse of the bible.

  • Superer than Superman. Wonderfuler than Wonder Woman.

I dig it. Don’t ask for more because you’ll have to die and go to heaven to get it. Then everyone will be sad while you’re not and that is mean stuff. I bet even the devil loves this app and hides in his room from his minions to use it.

If this app was a book, it would be the most printed book in history. You can listen or read and that is a blessing because you can listen or read until you stop. It’s nice to hear different voices for different people and narrations, except for the devil’s voice. I’m glad he likes this app so his voice can give him nightmares.

Seriously though, there are a few things I’d change here and there, but they are not enough to justify taking a star away. This app is great.

  • The Word when I’m too busy to sit, or eyes too tired to read.

I am so strengthened by this ap. Hearing it dramatized helps me to imagine and understand the Word better, especially in passages that are hard to read. I only have one negative comment. The women voices sometimes seem ‘just not right’. Several times they sounded very seductive, which I feel didn’t fit with the content. I can see when the daughter-in-law was playing a harlot, but when, for instance, Queen Esther was speaking, the seductiveness doesn’t seem appropriate for how I feel she is portrayed in the Bible. This happened several times , in several books. And also the female voice in several verses seemed screechy. Other than that I love it. Such an encouragement! Other than that, I love listening.
