Really good with a few glitches
I really enjoy this audio Bible app, but there are a few problems. First, with some chapters, the text is cut off. The audio continues, but the scrolling stops. This doesn’t happen all the time, but enough to where it is annoying. I don’t have specific chapters at hand, but I just got through 2 Samuel and it happened there a couple of times.
Second, I don’t know what this app is doing “under the covers”, but there seems to be great delay at times, especially at boot up. A button will be available to press, but when I press it, it may take several seconds for that event to register.

This app is well made!
This app is so good, I’ve been looking for a Audio Bible App that doesn’t have Robots reading to you and that sound like its really going on; a Dramatized Audio Bible. This app is just too good, I highly recommend it but there’s 2 bugs that I came across, one is when the app is in the background and your phone is in sleep mode it would play backwards instead of going chronologically. Another is that if you have WiFi on and it happens only with WiFi on - after a chapter is played it’ll pause and you’ll have to manually press next and play again. Of course if anyone is dealing with this you’ll need to listen to this app without WiFi for now until this bug is fixed. Those are 2 bugs, once these are fixed this app would be 10/10, right now its 9.9/10.Show lessPolaridy

I really enjoy being able listen whilst I’m driving, and I’m pleased that I can easily skip back to start of the chapter if I need to listen to something again.
It’s well read, with plenty of different voices and charisma, and with interesting sound effects.
The text is brought to life through hearing it, and I’ve heard things I had not noticed when I’d read the bible.

Great Audio Bible, highly recommended
I was introduced to this app by my wife and I have been using it on and off for a couple of years.
The videos are an excellent addition to this app and the various voices used for different characters is a great idea to keep you listening.
Truly as the Bible says “Faith comes by hearing..” it’s a great learning tool. I strongly recommend this app, try it for yourself.
I would suggest the ability to set a start and stop would be a great addition.Show lessEmes7

I depend upon this app. I set the app to play throughout the night. It eases me into sleep, awakens me in the morning, and creates an atmosphere of Truth appreciated even as I sleep. I know we are advised to avoid carrying our various devices, to keep them in another room when we sleep. But , especially with tired eyesight, my ears stay open to seek and enjoy Truth. During the day the scriptures keep me focused on all that is pure, lovely, and of good repute.
Im 75 now, and in this very sad culture, it is easy to become depressed, discouraged, cynical. Your app helps me keep my mind in a state of renewal.
It has become all I listen to.

I love this app! I am blind and it is hard for me to read my Bible these days. I have tried other Bible apps and I have not been able to truly get into it. This app is fantastic as I don’t have to work very hard to listen to the Bible. Not only that, but because it is dramatize it makes it very interesting. You kind of get the depth of what is going on in the story because of the dramatization. Having a separate voice for each person brings life to the Bible. Thank you for developing this app. My only complaint is that it sometimes crashes and won’t play. But it’s rare and far between. Thank you again. Create your own plans
I have been a longtime YouVersion user, but have been frustrated with the inability to create my own reading plans. I finally went googling to see what was available and I am so glad I did. This is a great Bible app, with a focus on the audio which is my preferred format. The readings have different voices and other really nice touches. Moses is inexplicably tinted with anIrish accent lol but so far I really love it. I have plugged in the daily recommended reading plan from the Bible study I am participating in and now, instead of having to track down the packet and see what the reading is for the day I just open the app and hit play.
