  • BLESSED!!

The audio makes you feel like you’re in the Bible stories itself! I love this app with all my heart and soul, really helpful to the youth nowadays to have access to the Bible if you forgot or don’t have a physical Bible!
  • Best Bible app for me

Let me just say I love this app! I love the dramatic reading so I can just listen to the story or follow along in my Bible (I use ESV). I also love the different videos. The Jesus film wasn’t the best Jesus production I’ve seen, but hey, it’s free so who’s complaining?(The Chosen is my favorite by the way, another free app that I definitely recommend!) it also has a film with direct scripture being read while actors act it out. My only complaint is that the pause and play tab goes away when I scroll and it’s hard to get it back, but that’s a minor issue in comparison with how much I love this app. (It would also be nice to have automatic scrolling like my other Bible app, so if the editors are reading this please update!)

  • Changed my life!

Finding this app and listening to the Bible using the plans has been revolutionary. I began with psalms, listening to 15/day over 10 days. By day 4 my mood had shifted from oppressed to connected and by the 6th day I was in victory! It was a tonic for my soul. Now, each month I listen to the book of psalms, proverbs and the entire New Testament. When I go for a long drive I listen to hours of the Old Testament. Listening to big chunks of scripture gives one perspective and one sees the recurring themes in Gods heart.

  • Perfect for audible scripture memorisation

I’m an audible learner so to memorise scripture I need to hear it over and over rather than use traditional methods of reading and using flash cards. I was looking for an app that would let me save a heap of verses by topic to a playlist and then read them back to me without background music and this app does it perfectly! Plus it’s free. Amazing. Thank you developers !! God bless you 🙏

  • Best way to understand a Bible book in context

This is my go-to when I want to experience the meaning of the words of scripture that says, “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God”.
I have studied scripture most of my 68 year life after age 10 and this has opened up a whole new clarity: it forces you to hear the context.
Today you can get devotionals and Bible studies pretty much everywhere. I have been in some studies that were 5 questions on 5 verses. Having listened to any given whole Bible book that we were studying (in a relatively short time listening time) it became very clear that the answers found in such a limited space made for poor theology.
When I want to know what one of the letters says I go to hear the context.

  • Great app

This is a great app, it makes hearing the word so much easier than reading and trying to figure out how to pronounce many of the names, towns and cities.
I was told about the app by my sister in law that lives in another state, we are doing this together. I look forward to coming home from work and listening to the Bible an hour each night.
A few times it has gotten stuck on a chapter, that’s a pretty easy fix by going out of the app and going back in. Had a problem with it downloading but, it seems it was due from too many other apps being open on my phone.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to be in the word or hear the Bible read to them. You can listen to it anywhere you go.

  • Sought and found God

Great app to both read and listen to the Word of God. There is hope! God is Holy. He is perfect, therefore, he cannot tolerate our sin. We are sinful and have been separated from Him. The Good news is He sent Jesus to live a perfect life, overcome sin, allow himself to be sacrificed (He did no wrong), and was raised 3 days after dying on the cross (overcame sin and death). Through His shed blood (which is the perfect sacrifice) we can be reconciled to God. John 3:16- For God loved the world so much that he gave his Son Jesus that whoever believes in Him will not be cut-off from God, but will have external life. What is preventing you from confessing your sins and receiving Christ? He is real, He is worthy, He is Holy, He is Gracious, and He can forgive you of your sins and you can have a relationship with Him. The God of the universe wants a relationship with you. Just think about that for a minute. Listen to the book of John in this app. Pray that He would make himself know to you, seek and you will find. God is so good!

  • Major Blessing for a Dyslexia

It takes me a long time to read something. Than I have problems with dyslexic which makes it really hard. Now I play the dramatic version of the bible during my quite time with my cup of coffee. Sometimes I play the bible in the background while working or cooking. This has made a major difference in how I read the bible. Not only am I listening to the audio but I also get to follow along. The Word of God is sinking in twice as good now. Ive been able to read through the entire bible three times since I got this app. I love that I can listen to it off line. Thats very important to me because when Im outside the USA, I can still watch and listen to the Word of God.

  • Great to listen, not very user friendly.

I absolutely love listening and the plans are fantastic as well! Although, I have found the app is quite glitchy, that’s the best word I can use to describe. I’m doing the “Bible in a Year” plan and even though I’m on Day October 28, yes I’m behind, when I open the app to go to the next day it always brings me back to October 15. I’ve tried changing the translation I’m listening to and the screen just turns black or it doesn’t change after I’ve selected a different translation. If I get a phone call while listening it won’t play where I left off. I have to close the app and completely restart that chapter I was on. You can’t fast forward or rewind either. My favorite translation is New King James, which I feel is pretty popular, and that translation is not an option. So that is a little disappointing.

  • Liking the older version better

As I love this app, I wish that some things were different. As it stands, I like the older version of the app WAY better than the newer version. The older version was easier to navigate and operate than the newer version. I wish that this app had automatic scrolling when you listen to the audio Bible being read. It would be nice to read along with the audio reader as they read without having to manually scroll the screen to keep up. This version is not easy to go from one book of the Bible to the next, or chapter and verse. The older version was simpler in that regard. I also liked the screen display better with the older version. The older version was just better in my opinion. I wish apps would allow a person to preview what the update would be before they click on “update”. Or at lease pick if they want certain things changed, and maybe go based on what the feedback is to get better results. Also, it would be nice to have an option to un-install an apps updates if you weren’t pleased with it. I Love God and I Love His Word!! Thank you for providing this app and for listening. God bless!!!
