Great app
This app is worth the money. It has several levels of learning, MUCH more than any free apps. Voice is very clear and direct, the Montessori way, and the look of the app is clean and modern, again, the Montessori way. This is such a great app and my son loves this, and Intro to Letters, also very good. Great education developers!

Do not waste your money
I read parenting magazines review and took the chance at spending the money for the app. Now I know why there is not a free to try option! It is a very basic application and does not offer much of any education. The wood block sorting has the best interface when using but is rudimentary with no chance to increase difficulty as my 4 year old did the one the first try. The number tracing is no better than a host of free applications. I get the idea of having a "Montessori" look and feel to the application with no sound and pseudo wood block look but I certainly feel ripped off. shame on the maker for charging so much for so little. Do not waste your money.

Fix the volume!!!
Fantastic app in kindergarten classroom.......but fix the volume!!!!
Not worth the $
Looks appealing but lacks many features other apps possess. No ability to customize, does not re-set or give instructions once a task completed, no praise or reward for task completion ( if that's important to you), lacks verbal instruction, tiny "back" button makes it difficult for toddler to use without help. Way way way overpriced for what's offered. Try grasshopper apps for montessori apps-More affordable and far better design.

Number shape inconsistency
This is an elegant app that holds the interest of my three year old and for parts of it, even my kindergartner. There is a small design flaw. When you trace the shape of the number 4, it is a different shape than the number 4s that appear elsewhere. Of course children eventually need to be able to recognize different versions of letters and numbers, but for this early learning app, I think the shapes should be consistent.

Needs volume
A very, very good app. But it needs to be louder. I have my iPad at full volume, but the voice is still very hard to hear.
Buggy, no sound, unclear game
I can't work out how to play two of the games. Why no sound?

Not for iPhone
Don't buy this if you are using an iPhone. It does not function properly on the small screen. The sandpaper letters get stuck and cannot be completed. The drag and drop numbers do not snap into place unless very precise movement are used--movements a very coordinated 4-year old (an even mom) can't manage. Both my son and I were excited about this app, but it frustrated him to tears. I can't figure out why they have not created a fix for these problems. What a waste of $.

Great App, But no Save?
I love this app. It is not the cheapest app, but it is very well done, with great graphics.
For my 3-year old, who can count to 100 but is first understanding the relationship of the numbers, which are bigger, how much bigger, etc, this app is a great.
However I'm frustrated that each time you start the app it starts from the beginning as if it has never been used. For a kid with the attention span of a, well, three-year-old, he tends to jump around. He tends to repeat the same exercises but not get to the more advanced work.
I would like to see the developers add to this app the ability to remember where the child left off.

I want to love this...
Brilliant app, really well thought out and looks great, however a few functionality points for 3GS:
Loudspeaker output is very low.
